I would imagine he had a deadline of this week to accept or decline the offer.

A couple of mates reckon Tranmere and chesterfield could be in for him. No idea where they got that info.

Don’t contracts run out end of June?  I’d assume contract offers still on the table til then? But we can’t wait forever.

Yeah they do but you can’t be left hanging on waiting and leave it until last minute to get a replacement, especially considering if we continue with 3 CB’s the WB positions are critical.

I’d be disappointed if Clarke left to stay in L2.

I think once an offer has been made to an out of contract player he has 28 days to make a written reply. So Vale cant withdraw the offer until after the 28 day period... thats my understanding anyway - I m always willing to be corrected though.

So Mitch holds all the cards really especially if there are other offers coming his way.

My brother-in-law swears he just saw Victor Naldrane getting on the number 39 bus to Burslem from Hanley Bus Station.

theres one explayer who is desparate to play for vale keeps coming on here saying he the best since sliced bread has not played many games  sorry cannot think of is name first name starts R last name B could give him another go.

Seems like it was Bradford who wanted Chizzy in Jan, this is from their forum.

I am wondering if DM is on holiday at the moment but as we go into next week(start of June) and it probably only being 3 weeks away from training then you would expect he wants a few new faces in by then as that's how he usually works getting players signed early,so surely something will happen soon

It would certainly make sense us turning a move down if it was Bradford who came in for Chislett

I know that Debrah and John have another year but i wonder if we will hear if they have accepted our extended offers and for how long or will it be two of those we dont get to hear about so we have no idea when their contracts are up
