I think we get beat on Saturday. I think that Barrow defeat was huge & will really dent confidence. Would love to be proved wrong.

We just don't score enough goals.

I may tune in for this one and see if I can last more than fifteen minutes before tuning into the paint drying channel.

If we do go up, it will be the worst, most boring promotion ever.

Totally agree, it's been as dull as ditch water... and Moore will think he's done a great job... dullard of a man/manager....

I find personally some or the comments on this forum baffling about the style of play that Moore is turning out. It is almost as as if we have been treated to 20 years of Dutch total football with a hint of Brazilian flair thrown in. We have played some awful games certainly over the last decade resulting in us nearly dropping out of the league. Under which manager was the football any better? And which season? There can’t be many? The football was pretty dire under Clarke and Adams as well. 
 

I have been disappointed with some of the displays this season. My biggest gripe this season has been that George Byers doesn’t seem to be the player we all hoped he would be. I must be watching a different game to a lot of posters as I have really enjoyed a lot of the games this season. The game against Wimbledon was a cracking match for starters. I think Morre does deserve a lot of criticism. The formation is wrong a lot of the games and he needs to be playing 2 up top. But to say that the football is boring………I’m lost. Maybe it’s just me thinking this, but this season has been a lot better than previous years gone by.

I think that, with the squad that has been assembled, most people expected far more from the Vale this season, in terms of attacking football and scoring goals.  Hence the criticism and disappointment voiced on here.

I think you are spot on. With the team assembled I get the disappointment that we are not top of the league and flying. I wouldn’t say that the football is boring. 

We have had our fair share of bad luck this season with clear penalties not being given, players receiving straight reds when it could be argued a yellow would have been more proportionate and how many times times have we hit the post or at least shaved it by a whisker. My point is that we have a decent enough team (compared to previous seasons and our opposition) and we are competing. I get the frustration that Moore isn’t getting the best out of the team, but it isn’t boring.

Agreed.

And I'm not sure the football was dire under Adams. 

5-2 Fleetwood, 7-1 Burton, 6-2 Rotherham. 

Without looking I think we also had a few comprehensive 3-0 wins and maybe stuffed Bristol Rovers 4 as well.

Far from dire.
