Maybe given the style of football we played under DC and the whole promotion season highs/lows are still quite recent in our memories, as in - this crap we have to watch now is being compared to the pure excitement of three years ago.

Perhaps if we had had 10 years of utter dross languishing mid/lower division 4, then we would be more upbeat about where we are at the moment.

We play some utterly turgid crap, and its not down to the players, as when they are"let off the leash" ala Tuesday night 2nd half, we can rip it up big style.

Anyway, I suspected Tuesday night was going to be the banana skin - these next 3 are big matches, and we pretty much always rise to meet the challenge, so am going 7 points from 9 - couldn't care which match gives the draw, but suspect its the Bradford match

Anyone would think we want to be  battling for league survival and hanging on in it by one point with our club being rinsed and taken to the cleaners.

Now that was entertaining 🙄😜

Have to disagree with you on this one. Started at the Vale in the mid 60,s and after the Cheltenham match on the1st. Jan. I have stopped. Just not entertained whatsoever.

Enjoyed the Bruno R. Matches more than now. Could be losing 2-0 at half time but had the hope/chance we would win 3-2. Even if we didn’t we always Big Reg to amuse us in the second half.Maybe other clubs supporters feel the same, but one attempt on goal in Ninty minutes is not for me.

Have no connection to these players, just football journeymen doing a job and moving on for first better offer.Ellis Harrison is a prime example. Most recent player to get me out of my seat regularly was David Worrall and we dumped on him.

Will watch the match tomorrow, not with any hope of entertainment, but because it is what we do.

Ps. I get paid to attend, but now leave as soon as I can and watch Soccer Saturday on the TV. I at least get to laugh/ smile a few times.

With you on this all the way and as you have stopped going. Early 70's for me on the start and boy have i seen a few poor sides but none that bore me like this one. Probably hightened by the fact that we have players there that would entertain if in the right set-up. I have never brought into the "doesn't matter how we play as long as we get the result" Entertain me or off I go. Might not settle with others but done my share of travelling the country regardless to watch the Vale. Win, lose or draw, in the end it makes no difference to my day to day. Show me passion in the shirt.

Spot on .

The fans are not a happy bunch .

We are 4th on 64 points ,if we play to win and GO FOR IT ,and not go ultra defensive because we are set up to be scared of opposition ,then for me the results will look after themselves

Time be brave and not with 20 mins go either ,from the start ,get up that field quickly, join in ,shoot at goal never mind taking a extra touch, just hit it ,run in the box ,if you get your head bloodied, so what get your head on every set piece in oppositions box .

Time unleash positivity ,and pick your positive players not your I cannot pass the ball as I'm scared stiff of it as they give the opposition confidence to be in the game .

The football was dire under Adams? Was it <ovf censored>. We scored for fun. Had brilliant wingers who were great to watch and a striker bang in 30 goals. We hammered numerous sides scoring 5 or me 3 times and a load of 3/4s. Completely different from this turgid rubbish. Failed to score at home what 6/7 times now?

Football much better under DC as well. Not like Adams but certainly better.

Interestingly at this point in 2012/13 we had failed to score at home in 6 games.

One team is going to go on a run for these last few games! I just hope its us! I really don't fancy the playoffs. Another first half performance like Tuesday then it's Season over! Lets hope we respond like never before and play like we can.

There's absolutely no doubt that Crewe are there for the taking tomorrow.

In poor form, worse than us.

It's ours depending how much we want it, despite our woes I genuinely believe we're better than them.

Can't judge the first game properly. Two huge moments, Rico simply has to score for 2-0 and obviously the bonkers sending off.

They as you'd expect had all the possession and we chased shadows, I don't think it would of panned out that way if Harper hadn't lost his head.

We can beat these.
