Popey deserves a lot of credit for his start. Im far from his biggest fan but if he can consistantly do what hes doing i will be more than happy to eat humble pie.

As for Rico, i said earlier on in the week that its horses for courses with him. Unfortunately for him if he doesnt start to bang in the goals theres not much hope for him as hes hardly pleasing on the eye.

He also has his own thread on the chesterfield site. Opening poster not happy with him.

you could tell from the 1st game that pope's put the effort in, in pre season. he looks like he's lost over a stone in weight and generally looks shaper infont of goal

 

still early in the season but its lookin better than some thought

To be fair L1 is a tougher league Rico needs to get used to higher league I'm sure after a few games he will get used to it.

 

As for Pope he's really stepped Upto the plate and is proving he can do what needs to be done
