Couldn't disagree more about Ruari. When he has played up front he's for the vast majority been played on his own up top and we've then tried launching it aerially. If he's been used in a two it's been fleeting such as when we were seeing the game out at Donny or when the manager is making his token sub in the last five minutes and then people act shocked he didn't impact the game. If we tried playing it to feet and get him working the channels you'd see a different player with Stockley or Tolaj alongside him. I'd also note he's only 24 and like Tolaj (who people forget is also still very young) we've brought him in as much to develop him as much as anything else.

Paton's played 750 league minutes this year and has yet to score from open play. There's a reason he's on the bench I think, Hackford was terrible today but the pace he brings to the table is useful

He s a poor signing…. And we paid good money for him…. Best for all if he moves on to a standard which better suits him.

I just don’t see how he ll score any goals he’s poor in the air, no pace, movement is average, can’t hold it, up he s played wide, through the middle in a 2 and on his own and as a number 10 and as a sub….. still doesn’t deserve to be in the side.

great win today…. Bit of forward momentum …. All to play for.

utv

My point is if he's not getting the game time how is he supposed to show his assets  and yep it was a good win

Tolaj will get better the more games he plays, Paton, I'm not too sure.

Paton needs to get his head down and start concentrating on his football and stop faffing about with Curtis. And vice versa.

Not sure if I’ve missed a mention elsewhere, but a special mention to Nathan for the block and diversion on their forward’s shot, dead centre about 12 yards out.

Watched the ball every second, timed his intervention to the instant, and kept us in the game, which was the springboard for our excellent comeback.

After being out of favour with Darren for a big chunk of the season, Nathan is doing everything he can to make himself a regular starting choice, and it’s great to see.

Well played lad.

Smudge is an important part of the team a top pro who could have got his arse out with Moore but instead got his head down and played a stormer today if he's left out then it's a disgrace

He thinks he's a fans favourite by clapping at the fans. He doesn't do enough when he plays, but again, he hasn't played many minutes.

Hackfords pace is useful but his finishing is useless

Well done Tom Sang today.
He’s not a league 1 player but at this level he’s a great addition to the squad and helped us a lot when he came on.

Said yesterday he has to be in every squad. Versatile willing play anywhere.

Came on as left sided centre half, got stuck in and put some good passes in.

A brucie bonus is Sang. No idea of his best position and DM will be the same.

Sometimes his dead balls are shocking ( Bradford) but he gives his all and is a great squad man.
