So Darren which players played a role in getting Vale to the top of the table and staying there for a number weeks.

1 of the 4 you quoted.

I’m struggling to see your point here? We are 5th, and bang in it going into the second half of the season, with key players returning and the January window opening to add fresh legs and quality to see us over the line.
What do we achieve with sacking Moore now?

We employ a manager who get more out of a very capable squad. His rotation when players have had good games is baffling. The confidence of the players is shattered.
P

This is a repeat of last season. Start well and then fail miserably. Moore is replicating Crosby, yet he has spent more money, has a better squad and is in the league below.
Even when we were on our winning streak we didn't look convincing.

I thought it was a fair bit better today. We tried to go forward and next to no passing back to the keeper and messing about across the back line. Tolaj played well up front and all three front men linked up well. John probably took his chance too early could have moved into the box more before shooting. Curtis really should have buried his chance when one on one with their keeper. Tolaj unlucky with that header and again with that shot on the turn. Also the push in the  back from a good cross was a nailed on penalty for me. So a fair few positives for me. 2nd half I was gutted when we took Ben and Lorent off and it played into their hands as they got a grip on midfield and lost some of our threat up front. Hackford had one great run which left their defence standing, played a great ball to Curtis who produced a powerful shot but not able to send it in the corners and the goalie managed to parry the shot.

Positives, more forward play and some good chances created.

Negatives, wrong subs at the wrong time. Possibly only needed to replace Rico with Ruari and Smith was struggling with cramp near the end and probably was the right one in the circumstances.

Had a fiver on a 0-0 today- so predictable.

Have to disagree mate.

Byers barely can be judged, played about 6 games. Our winning streak was when he was out.  Harper , jury out for me, nothing exceptional despite his pedigree. Stockley so far has failed to deliver actually only scoring in 3 fixtures. A big flop.

BBB was fringe at best, sometimes not even in the squad, physically weak whilst talented.

So all they'll be is options, nothing fantastic.

Byers is head and shoulders above the rest of our squad - he would drastically improve our starting eleven.

Can’t disagree on Harper, but he would be a far better replacement than Chislett in the middle. If anything, he’ll add much needed depth. Stockley adds a physical presence which we’ve lacked in his absence. I do question his goal scoring ability, but I feel as if he adds more than that. BBB is a decent little player, one a hell of a lot Vale fans got excited over in the few months.

I’m not on a mission to fully defend Moore because the bloke isn’t completely faultless, but I’m merely pointing out a few obvious points about key players missing for large parts of the season.

Nippy, do you honestly think we setup to not win today in the 1st half?

That's the problem... he probably set up to win,in his mind... when it didn't happen, that's when he has no idea what to do.

We are always waiting for’key players returning’ - they either take ages to do so or go and get injured straight away as again

Byers and Garrity, two of which you’d arguably class a ‘key players’, are just about getting back into the squad. Try taking out a midfield partnership as talented and important as they are in any football club and see how they get on.

We will be luck to get another 6 or 7 games off Byers this season, he is not the answer. Garrity coming back is a big plus but honestly, the tactics Moore plays will never get us promoted.

We should undoubtedly be doing much better, that's on Moore mostly and the players. The main positives today was a good first half and Ripley being dropped.

If Moore is going to go, it should be now (or end of season); otherwise, support him. That's up to Carol really. I'm really not going to lose sleep over it as managers have a very short shelf life as it is, as well as most players in teams at this level.

I think we look better without Stockley near the team, start of the season I'd imagined that he would fall down the pecking order as the younger players (I included Dipepa at the time) cracked on.

I'm not really a 'system manager' kind of person, I'd rather we got the best out of the players we have. We're overloaded with defensive players in the team, and not a clue in midfield or building attacks lately. Final passes are consistently poor and crosses are predictably not working much for us.

Last season though was much worse and there is quality in this team. We do have a massive squad and it's no coincidence that our best players in the team at the moment are the ones playing consistently. And thats about 3 players.

It doesn't seem to me the players are fit enough to get beyond 70 minutes, often knackered in second half recently. I know we've had injury issues but it does seem like if we can't get ahead in games it seems 40/60 whether we will even get a point because we end up inviting so much pressure all the time.

Wonder what business we will do in Jan if any, we've brought in players that get barely any minutes at all (Diamond Edwards springs to mind). My worry is DM doesn't really know his best team and there's only a plan A, no plan B except to close a game out. I'm getting less convinced with each game that we will get an upturn in fortunes and we will end up midtable which is below what this side is capable of.

My point is our performances have fallen off a cliff the last month and a half the football in offer is dog shyte and we've got no hope of getting promoted and you don't think there's an issue perhaps you should take off those rose tinted glasses and look at what happened recently,Thanks

Stop making excuses, The manager is tactically inept and keeps sticking to his stubborn ways week in week out , he would rather nulify the opposition instead of attack the opposition hence why most fans want him binned off

The negatives are the football on offer every week is dire , we don't look like scoring  would rather concentrate on shutting out the opposition instead of attacking the opposition and looking to win matches and the last negative is Darren Bore is still manager , Forget getting promoted with this bloke he's absolutely clueless , anyone who's still backing the manager are as deluded as him
