Port Vale v Walsall match thread - Dec 7th

On a separate note, I'm not sure why people go on social media after a bad defeat to a fanbase who don't like us.

It's akin to walking into a pub in Walsall in a PVFC shirt.

Just avoid social media for a little bit and it's like the game never happened. I've never met a Walsall fan so this game has zero bearing on me after it's finished.

Crikey what s rubbish goal give away Connor Hall lost his battle with goalscorer from the corner  but that shot should never go in CR has had a blooper there .

Never usually watch oppositions goals but it popped up on me Instagram wow the gyspy curse of Walsall at home is as clear as day

Just being on that league 2 banter page .

Crikey there's a lot of nonsense spouted on there also some decent stuff also .

3 -7 -0 set up I think I agree whatever is that  going achieve ,one lad said another said ,Walsall fan is that Vale just put everyone behind the ball hard disagree with that also said he as seen better football on a Sunday and I'd agree with that also

Did Harper touch the ball after he had that shot in second minute .

Ain't a midfielder supposed run the game yet he took Croasdale who is always busy yet left him on .

Here's my marks

 Connor Ripley 5

Cover 3

Sang 3

Debrah 5

Hall 4

Hart 3

Croasdale 5

Chislett 5

Harper 2

Curtis 4

R Richards 4.

Overall it was hard choose a man of the match as nobody shone I'd probably give it Croasdale or Chislett .

Lots of unconvincing displays not surprising with weather ,would have been interesting if Moore started Stockley and Paton as at least there was a flutter of excitement for about a minute near end of game due to a few link ups .

See that you are showing off your true colours. Disgrace

As normal, you’ve completely missed the point, so let me explain in very simple terms, chanting abuse at opposition fans, players and staff, in this case a ball boy, is not confined solely to Walsall fans.  Now show me where I condoned it.

I had the misfortune to be in the same room as Mike Lloyd on a number of occasions.

Though Sang dailled on the ball too long personally needs to pass it first time not take a touch taking a touch meant that he got closed down .

That's the game I saw if you could give a mark of putting ball into touch under no pressure I'd give a 10 for that as we were world class at that

We were really bad played like a non league team certainly not a table topping one who had just come into the game well on a high I should imagine after Cheltenham last minute magic, to then play like that well too me it's absolutely absurd but everyone to there own .

Croasdale had a bang on the head just prior to going off maybe that was the reason. Harper was no worse than anyone else, he was out muscled, it happens.

We need to draw a line under this game. Its one game out of 46 a game completely ruined by the weather. There was nothing between the sides both were understandably poor because of the conditions. Please forget about this one and move on. There is nothing to be gained from raking over the ashes over this game in  completely freak conditions.

Hear hear, spot on. It's gone. Pointless regurgitating it. Won't change anything.

Let's hope we can talk about Bromley now instead.

100% agreed; however, you'd rob so many people on here clutching their pearls m8 and, some, calling for DM's head.

Rediculous

Move on.

Might have just ordered the gorgeous lime green top with a certain name & number on 🤩

You'll be able to walk around the house now without having to put any lights on 😎
