Disagree it was Walsall who prevented us from playing. We created our own problems with poor CB play and midfielders not showing for the ball.

What prevented us at Gillingham, Morecambe, Crewe and Cheltenham? The opposition?

We do not have the players to play the style Moore wants us to play, we ain’t Man City! We need more movement up front and play a bit more direct at times. Failing that, we need to change Ripley, Hall, Debrah, Henneghan and Smith.

Is moore trying to make us play like Man City? I hadn’t noticed.

At the moment it looks like it is the other way around, they're playing like us.

There's very few games in this league where teams bring good numbers so to me those are the games you have to select a team who are going to get folk out there seats.

When I saw team news in Johnny's micro bar (blue moon very nice by way a quick pint  )I thought maybe it will work if we pass the ball  through the field quickly we didn't it didn't work and I'm.sitting there thinking Henegan be on in min and Stockley will be on before half time and surely Patons going come on as he had a assist v Cheltenham and obviously his confidence be up because of that but no wait till 1 down and not for Ripley saving from Lowe, be 2 then still no Henegan, when Debrah yeah defensively he had a decent game but as a player in a big game his passing was very poor too slow too negative and by time he did pass it Walsall had gone man to man on us so no space to operate .

We need quicken up when was last time at home a player hit the byline and delivered a telling cross think the last decent cross at home was BBB v Fleetwood for Curtis head in .

Why does Sang always take a touch just pass it first time .

2nd in league now lets hope we learn from yesterday the last 15 as keep saying v Cheltenham is the way to go ,be on the front foot create overloads on both sides and entertain .

we were rubbish !! move on ! tues night cup game to turn it round ready for bromley sat !! will be there UTFV

I was referring to yesterday.

For me those games:

Gillingham we never turned up and I felt we lacked a real effort on the day. Inept display

Crewe was fine under the circumstances and bar an individual defensive error we would have won.

Cheltenham was a bit like yesterday. Too many players didn’t get in the game and the tactics were wrong.

We do have players to play how DM wants that’s how we got top in the 1st place. I just think players are a bit hesitant on the ball at the minute with a few struggling for form and not wanting the ball as a result.

Football is all about confidence- look at Man City, only takes 1 result to change it.

It’s certainly a big test now  of DM’s management. Bromley looks a huge game for us now, another tight pitch which we have struggled this season. He needs to find the right formula but we will also see what the players are made of.

If he plays the same team as on sat

We may as well wave the white flag

Paton &  Stockley need be in the team

Enough of this cautious stuff

Best form of defence is attack

Met a Walsall mate before the game for the full English breakfast.  I asked him what was their main strength , he said picking the same 11 consistently baring injuries/suspensions. The team could gel and were familiar with each others style of play, interesting contrast. He said their main weakness was their young, inexperienced goalie who we rarely tested which considering the awful conditions Im surprised we didnt target.

Having said that Ripley was barely tested , the real difference was they scored their main chance, ours was cleared off the line. Everyone I spoke to was expecting the game to be off, I thought they handled the conditions better than we did.

One thing I've noticed in the past 24hrs is that there are many on here, chucking their 2' worth in, who are never here when we win.

It almost seems like some are not happy unless we're losing.

A lot of people losing their <ovf censored>

It’s proper weird mate 😂 it’s become the norm unfortunately, as we all know they are never on here praising the team for a win or being top of the league. It must really pain them to post when we are doing well. Either that or they’re just miserable sods 🤷‍♂️

With the budget Moore’s been given, Vale should be playing more attacking and entertaining football

Fans are being realistic and have a right to express their concerns and not have to be told when to post and when not to.

So you and your do goodie buddies keep to the facts and not come on here with your sarcastic comments.

Moore will come out with we'll learn from that. Yeah? Great! We haven't learnt anything from the previous crapness so I can't see how we will learn this time

Phantom, I don’t listen to him anymore on the radio. He’s as bad if not worse than Crosby. Both fully paid up members of the Talking a load of Pony Club.

Anyone with a bet on PVFC to win the league, cash out now and bite the bullet.

Anyone who’s bet on us to win the league did it at their own risk, we aren’t entitled to walk the league. Yes we should be there or there abouts with the squad we’ve assembled & right now we are even if we haven’t been very good for a few weeks now. Would you not just be happy with automatic promotion mate? I certainly would
