well hamil rd is flooded by the fire station !! thanks council rubbish for not clearing the grids for over 6 years !!! knuts !! oh and the floodlights are on for some reason

Team selection based on which players perform best in a Gale. Not sure what the weather does to tactics, try and keep it on the ground or just put it in the box and hope for mayhem.

got to be better than Cheltenham where we stole a point

Correction, we deserved a point. Crewe scored a late equaliser at Carlisle last weekend. Walsall scored a late equaliser at home to Bromley. Its league 2 football, its happens.

Just been on a few of the forums. Everton and Blackpool among a few that reckon their game will be called off for safety reasons.

Would be very surprised if it's on. It takes one person getting hurt due to the wind near the ground for there to be a whole lot of trouble.

This game would surely be postponed for the safety of everyone involved were it not for Sky.

Aren’t all the EFL games on sky sports plus this weekend? With 3 already being postponed so I’m not sure about that one mate. Those 3 are in Wales or down the south coast where the weather warnings are far more severe

It’s only on the sky sports plus so not a main game and would still be on if played on a Tuesday night on the same channel to be fair.

If bad enough imagine they will call it off by 9am before fans start to travel from Walsall.

According to the weather forecast it’s gonna constantly rain through the night through to the afternoon.
At kick off time it will be raining, temperature of 4 degrees, actual temperature feeling like -11 degrees because of 23m/s wind gusts which, having googled it, is a force 9 gale.

I can’t see the match being on.

To the 5 who were confused at this yesterday…… Good luck.

I was in Iceland a fortnight ago. Like this but with a windchill of -14c on the Snæfellsnes peninsula and I can confirm it’s something you can only be exposed to for a few minutes if it is -11c windchill

Spent ten years in Norway pal.
The rain alone will be like icicles hitting your face.
This ain’t happening today.

I think we need to be sensible here. As much as it’d be a great occasion I think they should be prepared to make an early decision on this at least before they’re about to set off.

If this game goes ahead it will be a bloody farce, call it off ffs !!
