If all 5.5 k season ticket holders turn up or some one does MB says we are on course for biggest gate of season ,cause I said to him so Walsall sold 2:8 so Vale ends not selling as well and he said no Vale ends are selling well and if all season ticket holders turn up could be ON for biggest gate of season .

So lorne street will be nearly gone .

As soon as folk know games on more and more will go white .

Personally last time they predicted a storm a leaf hardly moved .

It be ON

Definitely be on. Hope you're right re the attendance, I'm just assuming why some may not be going. They'll look at the forecast and not fancy leaving the house.

What’s this obsession with the attendance again all about 🤦‍♂️

Money!  But in fairness, a bigger crowd doesn't half help with the atmosphere it creates.  UTV!

I don’t think for one minute the fans are worrying about the income for Saturdays gate. I agree & I’m sure the atmosphere will be decent enough mate 👍🏻

I disagree Mate, I for one want the owners to reap the financial reward!

According to the weather forecast it’s gonna constantly rain through the night through to the afternoon.
At kick off time it will be raining, temperature of 4 degrees, actual temperature feeling like -11 degrees because of 23m/s wind gusts which, having googled it, is a force 9 gale.

I can’t see the match being on.

If you go onto the BBC Sport website (football section) there's an 'EFL Preview : "Race to the finish top/not bottom at Christmas".

Scroll down to League Two and apparently "the Saddlers, unbeaten on the road since September, go to Burslem knowing a draw would be enough to take them top"

Now I know my memory isn't what it was and maths was never my strong point but I seem to recall we both get one point each in the event of a draw, and as we are one point ahead of Walsall then we would remain so, and thus top.

That is unless overnight the Football League have instigated a new rule whereby in the event of a draw the away team are given an extra point - perhaps some sort of Christmas Bonus ?

Update

(and good news for Rob)

Those good chaps in the BBC Sports dept. Obviously read OVF as they must have seen my earlier post and now corrected their error.

Ref could ruin this one. He’s a complete <ovf censored> if memory serves right

Yes, he is as thick as a submarine door.

If it gets called off tomorrow would we get a different bloke when it's rescheduled?

My little girl just jumped into the big man in the Mother Town! I told her to tell him to play Ruari tomorrow & we can be friends again 😅 Nice one gaffer 💙
