It's top of the table, it's on TV and it's an early kick-off. Here's the place for discussion on Saturday's match...

got to be better than Cheltenham where we stole a point

Obviously still time but just bought my lads ticket and we are way behind the Crewe sales.

I'm honored, missed a handful of home games since 1969/70 season.

Excellent. I have missed 19 home games since 1974.

How do you know this? Off the ground chart or other means?

It was like this against Crewe,  so we must have sold a lot of tickets late on for that game. 🤔

I've just gone on as if I'm buying a ticket and it is showing the blue as available.

But as I have said, I did the same for the Crewe game and it showed a lot of blue, but on the night it was pretty full, so I don't know if we can really rely on it.

In the last day or two before the Crewe game sales soared looking at ticketmaster. The day of the game it became clear we were pushing 8k Vale fans.

We're quite a way behind that at the moment. Ticketmaster looks similar to a normal game.

I think there's a mix of reasons. We're a fickle bunch, 2 draws will put a few off unfortunately. The weather looks horrendous. Gale force winds and rain, some just won't fancy it. I know Crewe was on TV too, but when you factor in the forecast, some will choose to stay indoors and watch on the box instead. I think people who pick and choose games at an expensive time of year, seem to have chosen Crewe over this one.

Vale fans always leave it late though so things can change. I think we'll get between 6 and 6.5k Vale in the end. They're bringing 2.7k, so as things stand I think we'll fall just short of 10k. Around 9k I'm going for.

Not amazing but let's be honest, these are attendances Crewe and Walsall would dream of. We regularly take over 2k to both (Walsall last 2 times) and the overall attendances at those grounds will be 6k ish, so there's nothing to be embarrassed about. It's League 2 at the end of the day, these are brilliant attendances.
