No mate it's 248 games in our division.  There are only 552 games in the regular season.

So a big percentage are televised.

Ah right, in that case don’t think it’s a good idea at all especially people with a dodgy fire stick could watch most of the games for free instead of attending in person, could affect attendance’s.

To be fair you can watch every game anyway with a dodgy stick.

I think it's going to be awful. People will be booking trains and hotels to get deals only to find it's being moved to a Monday night or whatever.

Depends on how much notice they have to give clubs.

Take it if they are showing 20 games per team that will be 10 home 10 away out of 46 but does this include cup games or are they separate

They say you will see your team at least 20 times next season on sky.
Every Carabao cup game is live.
If you don’t get past round one then that’s 19 league games that will be rearranged kick offs.
And clubs have sold out for 300k?

I pointed it out weeks ago and cannot believe people didn’t see it then. Almost half a season, or more, will not be played on a Saturday at 3pm.

How anyone can buy a season ticket on that knowledge, unless they have no commitments, is utter madness.

And all for 300k extra?!! Bonkers.

I predict that this season it won’t be that bad for most clubs as most fans will have their head buried in the sand and go and buy their season tickets regardless. And think they can go to every away game like they used to without inconvenience. But as the season progresses they will see the upheaval in the game and next seasons season ticket sales will be dramatically down across the board.

The problem is that very few want to see Port Vale v Newport at midday on a Sunday. Port Vale v Harrogate at 7.45 on a Friday night. Morecambe v Port Vale at 3pm on a Sunday. And when I say want to see I mean actually travel up and watch the game. All of this is designed for tv and ratings and for you to stay at home and kill lower league football until the only option is that of the big Americanised style super league for a select few.

Any owner who bemoans about this from next season onwards, I have no sympathy for.

When are the fixtures usually released? Just wandering whether most people will have bought their tickets on early bird, before having a chance to check our fixtures.

Or could it be that fixtures could be set at the start of the season but later rearranged for TV?

That's exactly what will happen...... Sky will wait for the fixture list from the EFL.... then decide which games they are going to show. This means that fixtures/ k.o. times and days will be altered to suit themselves. As for the fans... well f*** em.

It’s going to be rearranged month on month I’d suspect.

Thats just my opinion on what I see though.

You’re Diego Maradona.

9.00 am June 26th this year. Quite late I'm sure they are usually earlier than that.

In some respects, I think its going to be ace - as someone posted above, its mana from heaven for the armchair fan - I can see me watching some matches for opponents who we will be playing in the near future

obviously I will forward my observation/scouting report straight to [email protected] 👍👍👍👍👍❤❤

Could be an expensive season - ST; I-feel-low subs; sky sports subs - heck - I might have to lower my subscription to BigJugs.com down to basic (Its a ceramics site you see🤣🤣🤣

Whilst there will be some messing about with KO times, I'm thinking it won't be too dramatic.

Based on 20 live league games for each club, these include first & last fixture, midweek, bank holiday & international breaks. I reckon that's about 15 games already without needing to change any times.

That hopefully means only about 5 Saturday 3.00pm games will be need to be moved.

Message to Sky - please pick our trips to Gillingham, Colchester & Bromley if you want to move any games!!

So 248 games, is about 20 games per team per season, presumably about 10 home and 10 away.

Which leaves about 26 games per team per season, presumably about 13 home and 13 away, untelevised.

I read it that the clubs will drop some gate revenue on their home games but pick up some extra TV revenue on their away games.

Anyone got a better understanding?
