Of what I’ve seen of Crewe, Micky Demetriou is just the type of centre back Vale need next season. 
A good seasoned pro. Proper defender. Leader. Gets goals. Him or a player of his type is a must to shore up our defence.

They do. I watched the 2nd half until about 70 mins waiting for the Crewe onslaught…. then basically decided that I’d have more enjoyment sorting out my sock drawer. If it’s any consolidation, at least they’ll get the full Bycars bogs experience next year.

Indeed he was. He was at Newport and wanted to move closer to family in Telford. I believe he took a wage cut I go to Crewe yet we never seemed interested.
