Public service announcement

I've heard today that all fans will need to collect their tickets from the ticket office. The "print from home" option was mistakenly left on and shouldn't have been there. I assume they are going to put an announcement out at some point but that's the reason we haven't got a QR code yet.

Been the shop today , whilst waiting for an hour whilst my grandson got a salford ticket , it seemed to me a bit confusing . One chap just wanted to get his car park pass , another said he just wanted to change his seat . Both walked away . They could have been wanting to buy something , as was a young fan with a new strip in the ONE queue . Also people were wanting tickets for all sorts of things . Whilst i have no doubt the staff are doing a great job , i have always thought combining the shop and ticket office was a bad idea . If we are to continue with this , would it not be better to have a SHOP counter , two TICKETS ONLY counters , and a counter for everything else . All the staff are multi functional and could interchange if one queue was busy . Also i could have walked out with a few things up my jumper - a serious point again . Just my thoughts by the way .

yeah but mate if ud wandered out with the away top up yer jumper you would be lit up like the christmas fairy

Have you linked your old information using your supporter ref number that is shown under the QR code on last years season ticket?

No Salford for me and my good lady.  sent x4 emails, had a poor reply initially, tried to call x8 occasions. Points are wrong, season tickets have my wife's initial on each. Neither her nor me could purchase online. I'd have gone in but have Covid! Joke is on me here. Really poor, no change in regards to ticketing and sales imo. Really disappointed and as yet today no one has bothered to contact me. Should have at least 275 points, not even sure the 150 from last is correct tbh. Really knocks you back. I was told there are x4 phonelines to the ticket office (shop - another ridiculous decision to merge) and they have been busy since 8.30am Monday. Well they are not busy now? Social media releases are quick to highlight we've sold out but not so quick in replying to me. At least we have four strikers now!! UTV

For all the great stuff the club are doing this really needs sorting! It’s ridiculous & can be very easily fixed 🙄

Mate it knocks you back. I went into the shop at 7pm before the Luton game as I decided late to go the game as a friend called me. Reasonably queue but the people on the terminals (tills) were struggling as the system was running slow. When I got served they had to input all my information to the system. I could understand this if points were allocated. I just didn't have the heart to ask for the season tickets. I'm now ill anyway. My email response consisted of "do this, do that" - NO! You have got it wrong and it is the clubs responsibility to investigate and put right. My wife is going in today but its too late. If it wasn't my 50th season I'd be tempted to ask for a season ticket refund (Only kidding but no one could blame me). Just not good enough, no common sense, make things visible, keep them simple, invest in decent hardware/ software/ communications/ training for staff and customers if need be. bring back Billy Bell's biscuit tin!! I'm staggered that no one has called me or emailed this morning tbh.

Just employing a couple of staff specifically for the phone lines & that problem is quickly corrected. Madness mate

Definitely an area for improvement. I’m lucky in that I can just pop up to the club shop quite easily. You’re certainly not alone as 1 of my mates is having a similar issue with the points system, whereas another mate was able to buy a ticket before he was eligible to 🤷🏻‍♂️ Hope you manage to get it sorted mate.

I contacted the main reception also. Was told there are x4 lines, no queueing system, so it cuts off after a few mins (if that). Who in their right minds merges ticket sales with merchandise sales in the shop at the same tills? What annoys me is the lack of urgency to respond and the one reply I did get involved no one checking that they had inputted details incorrectly. Staggering really.

Rodge it's p*ss poor at best. Went to the Supporters Club AGM last September and simmilar conversations were being held then.  "All fur coat, no knickers" comes to mind. Any other business or organisation you'd walk away, no messing. Be interesting to check your mates account who got a ticket by not being eligible - sounds good to me! They'll have my wife to answer to later... Then me if they ever get in touch...  At the end of the day, we just want to buy a ticket and watch our team - hopefully win games - job done. Bring back dear old Bill Bell, never any issues then! God rest his soul...
