Tickets - season tickets, loyalty points, matchday tickets etc

You can buy the 1876 membership and get your free ticket for one of the first 7 home.leagje games. You can't get the card though for the membership as that is not ready yet and you have to pay an extra 5 pounds for the card. Also I asked about loyalty points about purchasing a Salford ticket and membership and it not increasing loyalty points total and they said there's a delay on it. They said if it hasnt updated by next week then come back in and we will sort it for you. Last couple of seasons the points were added straight away but this year there's a delay or it's not being added.

I've got an 1876 card from last season so I'm not going pay for another one  mate

But I will buy another 1876 membership 👍

Thanks to all that suggested solutions. I have managed to get on to the 1876 section and can purchase my owd fogie concession. I simply logged in on the laptop rather than mobile and hey presto, right in. Still not working on my mobile though. As some wag on here said "pity our owners don't have a software company".

😅🤣😂

I remember when we could use these (see image) as tickets up and down the country. No issues at all.

I travelled from Aus once for a match and stayed in the pub as the queue for a ticket at 2pm was ridiculous. Stiff queuing up twice. It was under the old regime so not Carol's fault. My point is that modern ticketing is made so difficult when it should be easy. I am sure it will be sorted out in due course.

By the way, how many season tickets have we sold.

5200 odd sold.

Hopefully they have separate queues in the club shop for “tickets” and “items from the shop”.  Still desperately waiting for them to get vowels back in stock to get my baby’s first Vale shirt printed up.

But I couldn’t call and ask because the shop was so busy and nobody answered, so I had to go over in my lunch break. Then can’t really barge to the front like a Karen and demand the manager tell me if they have any A’s, so nothing for it but to get to the back of a huge queue of people wanting tickets to politely wait and ask.

Anyway, it was sunny and I’ve already got the baby’s kit a week earlier (and it’s so bright I’ll always see her). So no big deal. Just hopefully they can make the shop more efficient.

The common sense reply to you would be, Don't go to the shop at the busiest expected times.

I went yesterday at 3pm and got served straight away, didn't even have to que.

And the young lady who sorted my ticket and points allocation out, was superb.

I'm not sure a 4th tier football club's club shop should be treated in the same way as a London city centre on a Friday evening.

You should be able to turn up and pretty easily spend your money whenever you're free. It shouldn't be a case of "well, I'm free now, but I'll keep my money in my pocket as the queue is 1.5 hours". We should make it as easy as possible for folk to get money from their wallets to PVFC's account.

So, you think paying wages for staff to stand about doing nothing for most of a working day, waiting for the rush of customers, is the right way to run a retail outlet?

I, myself use the common sense thought wherever I can and as long as I'm not in a rush, I will visit when I deem it to be less busy.

True. I hadn’t realised about that the ticket office window wasn’t used now. Plus I work about 10 mins from Vale Park. It was empty when I bought the shirt in my lunch break two weeks ago (when they also had no letters).

Just bad luck. But something they could consider when other big away matches come.

No doubt there are improvements to be made. Hopefully with the supporters liaison activities these improvements can be carried out logically and efficiently.

i m just glad that we have so much demand for tickets / on line updating of peoples accounts that it stresses the system. Better to have the systemic issues to solve than the other way round I.e. no demand.

But a lot of people don't have that luxury! They can only go when they're free - after work, around childcare etc. That's why its busy then. They can't use their 'common sense' to saunter up during quiet periods, as they're working.

People aren't going at quiet times because they lack common sense - they just don't have another time to go. You aren't uniquely bestowed with common sense.

My personal view is you shouldn't have to queue for anywhere near an hour in a 4th tier club shop. You queue for less for big rides at Alton Towers. Folk just want a parking ticket!

It's a shame when they designed the club store that they didn't think of these problems and seperate tickets and club shop purchases. They could have maybe put a ticket office out of the main shop building, but close enough that it's still easy to make your shop purchases. They could even have these buildings connected, to make it even more convenient.

Imagine how good that would be. !!

You could also on biggest ticket selling events have access from outside AND also from within the shop area !

If Only.....

Or common sense to order online either it seems 😉
