Been busy with house viewings in ST6 and sorting out the purchase which should be locked in by end of week, then will sort out my ST before the end of the early bird offer like @The man in the pub

Might actually be a bit difficult for me to get to all of the games before the house move (could take up until October) but I'm really excited to be coming back to the area and have an ST again. Will be a short bus ride away for games so will be able to get a drink in on match days. 😁

As for the state of the club as it stands, obviously last season was very disappointing and a bit before that but need to put that behind us and not allow it to be held for grudges. We can and will turn things around and I hope Carol & Kevin feel the same way.

NW9, I exchanged contracts yesterday and we are moving back from Devon to Kidsgrove on 6th July.

Intend to get a season ticket and support the club as hopefully we move forward. Two good signings so far and back into the swing of things since we moved down in 2011.

Hope all of our supporters enjoy the forthcoming season!

Carol still has a tremendous amount of goodwill from what I see and hear, dented slightly no doubt but still plenty of credit in the bank.

The Flitcroft topic has been done to death but at the most basic level it was blind loyalty shown by an employer to an employee in my view.  It’s in the past now and any new season always offers a chance to put right the wrongs.

Player recruitment will always be the number one priority and after our relegation fans will need to see a bit more intent on that score over the summer to raise their hopes.  More than anything else signing a decent striker or two would really set pulses racing.  We’ll have to wait and see on that.

It's certainly not been done to death. It's the reason we had such an awful season and the reason we're now in Div2. It was sheer, unbelievable stupidity  and I still can't understand how she couldn't see it and instead she backed  DF.

Be nice to have my old neighbour back in town.

Well said! I really am on the fence so to speak, a little more willing to renew than I was at the end of the season.
Dunna bother pal. The most avoidable relegation of all time. She doesn't deserve any backing.

This time next week the fixtures will be out and you’ll then be able to see how many games will be at 3pm on a Saturday for the first half of the season.

Done to death.  Everything that could’ve been said on the subject already has been so you’re just going round in circles repeating the same things that were said months ago.  Feel free to keep bashing on about it if that’s what floats your boat.  My life’s too short to keep going over old ground so I’ve moved on.👍🏻

Real fans back the club
knobs like u moan about the club
Blind faith that'll do. Plenty to moan about for us knobs. Told you last year we were going down. Still keep burying your head in the sand. ' we wouldn't have a club without Carol' etc. The most passive unavoidable relegation in football history.

I will be renewing my season ticket the last few days of the Early Bird offer but I understand how bomber feels and he is not alone. Carol had a tremendous amount of goodwill in the bank but for reasons best known to herself seemed to prefer to back Flitcroft rather than listen to the almost unanimous verdict of the fans, customers of your business. Even more so when unfortunately the fans were sadly vindicated in their opinion of our D.O.F.  In any business you ignore the customer base at your peril and alot of people feel let down, mystified and disillusioned  by Carols choices. But as you say onward and upward .

I do agree .  This season  Carol  must start to listen to fans and listen to people that talk common sense that are still very upset   Vale fans payed a lot of money to watch the vale the last 18 months . Port vale  players manager and Carol let the vale fans down but I will be buying a season ticket and parking ticket I love port vale and will aways support the them . But vale must finish in the top half of division next season .  Or vale will be in big trouble.

Disgusting? The club is wonderful. However, we gave away league one football far to easily last season. That's a fact.

Not sure we'll find this out then. Sky have stated that live matches will be announced before the start of the season - not necessarily the day the fixtures come out.

We could run a competition to pick out the games to be moved, or at least worthy of a thread.
