Cant help you with that sadly, they threw me yesterday when i went to do mine by asking if i want a physical one or one on my phone......how times have changed,i did of course ask for a physical one for me and my lad but it cost an extra 5 quid for each one but the card lasts 5yrs

Renewed my season ticket today, don't have a smart phone so I have a 5 year card...only hope I live for another 5 years!

Fully agree.  What's this bolax about a wallet? I'm a modern man , I don't carry a wallet,  CC and cash tucked in phone.   My last ST anyway as moving permanently to Cornwall,  so crack on vale,  rip me off for a fiver ( well 2.50 as a shared ticket), why not, I've only supported you for 60 years  !!
Maybe demand is that high they thought better make things as difficult as possible this year?
After last season,  coupled with the lack of signings so far,and yes I know it's june 7th,  I'm amazed at the club's attitude tbh

'Rip you off a fiver'? It lasts 5 years and works out at a pound a year! Only a Vale fan [emoji1787]

If you read my post properly you would see that this is my last ST as moving permanently to Cornwall.  So how exactly is it a pound a year?  Maths not your strong point? Plus no one knew about the 5 year thing at that point did they?

I won't bore everyone with the details but my daughter was pulling her hair out trying to sort out the STs this year

Is there an option for both? Can you use the phone as well as the card?

Just asking, as I can see myself wanting the card for keeps, though I'd use the phone for the actual ticket.

£10 admin fee apparently as well if you take the payment plan option. Just read a post on Face Ache somebody gone up renew 5 on the payment plan had to stump up an extra 50 bone up front. The post / point they made was, no where had they seen prior information about it.

not gonna bother this year  might get an 1876 sod the admin fee and £5 for a bit of plastic wait till we get back into L1 go when i can now   me dads more important

Shocking that. I’ve read the post and seen some are saying that’s the banks fee for setting up a direct debit which is simply not true. In my opinion something that wouldn’t be an issue if the club said something prior to fans finding out on the day

<ovf censored> communication. Again

This all asks a lot of questions.

Do they know what they are doing?

Do they make it up day by day as they go along?

When they come up with an idea do they just implement the idea without looking at the advantages / disadvantages?

Why wasnt this communicated to the fans?

What happened to improved communication with the fans?

They also still don’t know if their is going to be any booking charges or what they are for away tickets yet either remember

They're probably just having a few teething problems or is it maybe cos there isn't enough staff working in the club shop

Who knows , but I agree the communication isn't the best
