Just brought 2 season tickets for me and my lad 1st one since Rudgie got sacked[emoji57]lots of people about must have been queuing for 20 minutes UTV

Upping my prediction to 4600 after witnessing the amount of fans renewing yesterday and today...

Does anyone know if the short-10-game season ticket is on offer this year please

I doubt it Osh, it hasn't been for 2 or 3 years now. 

There has been the membership scheme to replace it where by you pay £15 and get £4 per game off the match day price. I assume that this will operate again this season. 

I’ve been to the club shop this morning. For those 1876 members, there’ll be more information mid/late July. Only confusing part was that they have a Mighten shirt on display.

Renewed mine in the shop today. Swapped seats to the Railway. Picked seats so a group of us are together. It doesn't say anything about my seat number on my account on the ticket site and doesn't mention it on the payment email either. Anyone else had this?

Ticket Office is open tomorrow for anyone wanting to board HMS Piss The League 

 

Over the past 18 months or so, I've found myself in a very confusing mindset. After losing an extremely close family member, my whole outlook changed. I am still struggling to this day to come to terms with the loss. It knocked me for six.

I used to be extremely engaged in regards to Vale. Whether it be management, ownership, players or fellow supporters. I'd always voice my opinion in club matters. I'd attend every game, home or away, league or cup. 

Vale was almost a comfort blanket for me. It got me away from my mental health issues and gave me a release for a few hours on a Tuesday or a Saturday. 

However, after the plethora of poor decisions continuously made by the management and ownership, as well as some of the attitudes and lack of effort from the players, I started to lose interest, and rapidly. I suddenly started to miss games. I rarely even showed any emotion when the opposition would score. I wouldn't get angry when we made mistakes. It was almost as if I had genuinely fallen out of love with everything.

All throughout the post season, I've maintained my.stance that I wouldn't be renewing mine and my son's Season Tickets. I'd had enough. The social.anxiety battle I'd face even going.to games was tough in itself and I wasn't prepared to put myself through that any further. I'd go elsewhere on Saturday's and take in some non league football.

However, over the past month or so I've kept a close eye on proceedings at PVFC. Will Carol follow through with her promise to put things right. Will Darren Moore get properly backed to build a decent squad? Will we rectify the mistakes of the previous three transfer windows? 

The answer rhus far is a resounding yes. I've got a little bit of belief back. That little spark has slowly started to rise to the surface. It's so refreshing to see us actually recruiting quality in key positions and having a plan going forward.

So, today, I swallowed my pride, and plucked up the courage to make my way down to the club store with my son, and we renewed our Season Tickets for the upcoming campaign. I still think we've got a few more bits and pieces to tie up the squad, but I'm feeling a lot more optimistic.

Thank you to everyone at the club for winning me round. I pray I've made the correct decision. I want to enjoy going to Vale Park again. Now just to shake off the social anxiety worries (especially with away games) and try to enjoy my Tuesday nights and Saturday afternoons once again.

Yes in there this morning too PA. Next to a Grant shirt on the wall. I think someone needs to have a word with Marketing. I was in at 10 am and there were 4 staff handling season tickets. There were 6 people in the queue ahead of me and about the same behind me when I left.

Sorry to hear about your loss mate, it's really nice that you are getting that connection back with the club we love and that it's helping you and your lad.

When I lost my father in law,my mum and dad and best mate in the space of 2 years i struggled with that and as with yourself i still do at times(more so being an only child),i dont think you ever get over these things but you do learn to cope with them. All i want to say is that i dont personally know you at all but we are one big Vale family,so if you ever do struggle or just need a chat please please feel free to message me.

We all hope the signings work well and gel quite quickly. But the friendlies will give some indication of how and what DM will operate with. 

But, as in many other early parts of the season, sometimes it takes time. 

Don't expect too soon.
