This debate can be twisted however you want and make a compelling case.
Moore has inherited a disaster of a squad, however the facts remain he has won just 2 games since joining.  That's poor however you want to look at it.  The flip side is that he wasn't involved in any way with the recruitment of these players.  His record at Huddersfield was also abysmal but again he wasn't around for the summer recruitment and was sacked at the end of the Jan transfer window...  I don't know what business they did during that window.
He doesn't inspire during his interviews.  He never seems to use subs to effect the game positively, although he doesn't seem to use them in a reactive way either as he never seems to react very quickly to opposition changes.  I really don't know if he will come good given free reign over recruitment.
5 years is looking as silly as the 5 years they gave Clarke right now though isn't it.
However, how the head of recruitment is still in position, is a bit of a mystery.

Do you honestly think that the 5 year contract doesn't have some sort of break clause to suit both Moore and the club ?

Of course it will have a break clause just like Clarkes did.  However, I very much doubt we can get rid of Moore for less than £250K, plus all of his backroom team too.

Doubt Pep could get a tune from this lot in fairness and he looks and sounds resigned to it now. I imagine if he does intend to stay he can't wait to get to the summer and build his own side, then he can be judged, especially as it looks likely recruitment will be on him rather than above as it stands.

We also had by far the easiest run in, playing teams below us. But we ended up losing those, sometimes in catastrophic fashion. 
I’ve always argued that managers need time, but I had massive concerns after e first game and hearing him speak. Maybe I was biased because I wanted a young, ambitious manager who had tactical ideas of how we could be improved within the structure and budget of the club. Look at Portsmouth as an example. Manager of the year but our fans would have been up in arms at bringing in someone who hasn’t managed before. We had it on here with people saying they didn’t want coaches they wanted a manager. Unfortunately to get such an appointment correct, you have to interview and go through a recruitment process. And for all the ‘trust the process’ nonsense, our leaders revelled in not following one. We know Portsmouth interview a number of candidates as Clarke went for the job. It’s not rocket science, but they do have a competent DoF. Again, we have many here saying we don’t need one. We absolutely do, we just need a good one.

His job was to play it. It wasn’t a free hit.
