Summer transfer rumours and speculation

Another thing though,i used to be concerned if Smith left as i do really like him and he is a tough League 2 defender but yesterday showed that Moore can bring in replacements for players should they leave and ones of a decent calibre as well

If both goals were 40 yard solo runs I'd be worried.

I'm not sure the nature of his goals yesterday will have convinced any interested clubs to step that up a gear?

Ojo is NOT deadwood. If he has come back with his right head on and not carrying an injury like the end of last season he is as good as anyone in this division.

I thought he looked fairly languid yesterday when he came on. Difficult to tell on the TV but I didn't see a player trying hard to get a starting place.

To be fair when he got on we were slowing the game down and closing it out so didn’t really need to anything else. Surprised he didn’t start but sure he will Tuesday.

Mental we had that midfield yesterday and could totally replace it with one of Ojo, Byers and Chislett!

Ojos attitude stinks I wouldn't trust him to run a bath but we've all got our opinions , haven't we pal 👌😎

He should never have played for us again after the Good Friday game at Accy

We dont want to hear it but it has to be said that I will be surprised if we dont get bids in for Garrity before the end of the month,it's if we can fend them off but we have to be fair to the lad as well,a player who has never given less than 100% for the Vale.

You're right we don't want to hear such negative stuff,  BG is more than happy at the Wembley of the north , me owd fruit 😁 🤫

I'm don't think recruitment departments work on a 'who scored 2 goals on the opening day' basis.

Clubs would have already identified Garrity as a target - they aren't going to ignore their data, scouts, and reports because Garrity bagged two yesterday.

If there's interest in Garrity, it already exists. He got double figures from midfield in a relegated League 1 side last season. I'm not sure yesterday changes anything.

I aren't stupid,i think people know i aren't just on about because of his 2 goals yesterday,it's all about his overall game, there will 100% be interest in Garrity by the end of this window if there isn't already.

Yesterday, will have tipped those clubs interested or thinking about Garrity into more of that they should go get him.

Just reinforces what those clubs already know and that they should make a decision on with only 20 days left to do something about it.

We have to hope that we are in advanced talks with Garrity to extend his stay here with us,he could be one of the best signings we make this summer imo

I've been to Denver 5 or 6 times; one of our children used to work there. It's a great place, and within sight of the Rockies, but if you fly in direct from here the altitude can be a bit of a problem. I once made the mistake of going to the gym on day 2 and had altitude sickness for the rest of the visit. Not great for visiting sports teams from the rest of the US, either!
