Fantastic result considering the injuries, sang played well. Not looked at the total squad list but we must be full, cant imagine much more coming in, maybe a cheeky trialist or talented loan. Hope to see some of the bench and guys lacking fitness play in the cup game.

I can't see us doing much more business. Anaku maybe on a 1 year deal as cover for BBB and Curtis? They must like him as he's been knocking about all preseason.

If it was my budget, I'd probably try to get another LB. As I said before Nesta Guinness-Walker is available, if the money's right he'd be a fantastic signing. But maybe Moores happy enough going with Hart, with Grant and Shorrock as cover. To be fair that's probably plenty in league 2, but I'd still like to see us shift Grant if we can.

Be interesting to see what they do with the young lads, Shorrock, Dipepa and maybe plant I can see staying with the first team. But Lomax, Buah and Davies could maybe benefit with a loan somewhere down the pyramid?

We still have quiet a large squad (28 first team players according to wiki). We're not quiet at Chelsea levels but I can see a few going out.

Agreed,i can see another defender coming in and as you say maybe a loan but i can see us more likely to move one or two on if we can

Again agree with this,i can also see the 3 you mentioned going out on loan for 6mths,we might even send a more experienced pro we want out on a 12mth loan

I reckon we are done now until we see a couple of outgoings then I predict a bit of activity at the end of the window for squad players.

I’m convinced at least Ojo will be sold for a nominal fee to remove the wage cost and fund another signing.

I’m not sure Anaku is with us anymore. He’s not been it’s training sessions I watched last week.

Guinness-Walker is a good player at L2 but I’m not sure how he fits into DM’s approach.To me DM values a player who can play FB,WB or WM so he can keep the opposition guessing his formation and comfortably play a different formation in and out of possession. It feels very similar to the DC approach when we went on a winning run a few games after he took over.

This is why I expect Grant to stay and Shorrock go out on loan in Jan once the cup competitions are out of the way.

Is that rule that a club can bring back players out on loan for FLT games still in place (e.g. in previous seasons we had the likes of Plant/McDermott) coming in for those games even though they were on loan to non-league sides).

If it is, then there's no need to wait till January to get some of the kids loaned out.

However, I suspect it will be later on, towards the end of the window, as non-league clubs are probably still looking for permanent targets at the moment. I think they'll start to look for loans if/when they miss out on any permanent deals - so any Vale loan exits will be towards the end of this window.

I think BBB may of come in instead of Anaku

Has the CB been training when you have seen them MBE? what was his name again and i know it was only training but how has he looked? DM said they were still talking to trialists,well we have signed one of them just not sure who else there is
