Aaron Donnelly on loan to try and shift one of Smith or Hall for a start? Played the full second half of last season at Dundee after injury for the first half. Probably improved quite a bit in the year since we had him.

Thought Donnelly did well initially.  Clubs realised he;

1 could be out muscled easily

2 his distribution went awry when put under pressure

Both will probably improve with age but I doubt he is currently better than either Hall or Smith.

I'll buy a second season ticket if we manage to offload Lowe/Jones to Crewe, Swindon or Walsall.

I will as well

Is the 1876 membership still a thing this season?

Wilks played Left of a front 3 for Wednesday but also looks like he played on the right as well in his career!

It would be a surprise if we signed him,it's not a position we need concentrate on(especially as he would cost a fee),you would think we would target a loan player if needs be. IF we are to have a permanent signing attacking wise then i would sooner it be a natural winger

I'd tend to disagree on that one. If you look back at the keeper issues we'd had in the previous years then Ripley has been a marked improvement. He still has an error in him and his form dipped at the end of last season (but most of the squad did too) but his penalty saving ability is a plus as is the fact that he's more reliable than the half dozen keepers who pulled on the shirt before he arrived. He also wasn't helped last season by an awful defence in front of him.

I personally think he'll be fine for what is hopefully a successful season coming up...

Totally agree Rob,i really dont understand the Ripley knocking

Love Rippers; as an ex-goalie i'd hate to see him go.  Firm fans-favourite.  The only thing i'd like to see Moore change in him is to tell him to dominate his box a LOT more.  He's a big unit and should be coming for every cross and, if you get in his way, that's a pair of knees in the back of your neck.

And maybe cut out a bit of the Manuel Neuer 'sweeper keeper' impression stuff

Personally i dont have a probelm with that - used to terrify me when Stone/Lucas did, but Rippers has got good feet and plays the ball out well. 😎

Hmm, a long shot could be we’re making a punt for another really big name signing.

I’ll take a long shot with Steven Caulker

Not so far, but last year it came around late, around the first game of the season, possibly to ensure maximum season ticket sales were achieved.

We’ve got Stockley to aim for this season instead of Uche. Get rid I say I’m not for all this passing around the back in league 2. Should win a few knock downs Jayden with the likes of Tolaj & Paton running off him we should cook. I agree Ripley is comfortable with the ball at his feet though but much prefer us not to have to see that too often 👍🏻

I agree with you...any goalkeeper would have struggled last season with the defence we had in front of him last season 👍
