You all love this complete weirdo who spends his entire day sticking his phone into people's faces, calling them "Chizzy" and "Gaz" like he's their best mate and tweets he thinks we're going to go on a 22 match unbeaten run at the start of the season?

That's OK.

Says more about some of you than it does him.

Then you’ve got Alex. The ginger bloke. Think he posted all of his pictures with Connor Hall outside the entrance when last he was here, when news came that Connor was back.

I bet Connor thinks <ovf censored> hell not this stalker again.

I get he’s a photographer but what does he get out of hanging around a football club entrance before and after a match, asking players for a selfie! And not once! Oh no. He will get dozens on separate occasions!!

As a grown adult.

All very strange.

Each to their own but my god it’s weird.

Did we? I thought he was Worral’s replacement

Clark replaced Worral I think. Sang came as a holding midfield player who also played right wingback. He's played nearly all his league football at right wingback.  When Cardiff let him go their manager said he felt his best position was in midfield and they were releasing him because his only role would be as a reserve right wingback. With hindsight an odd comment. Let's hope he has a significantly better 2024/25 as he does have some qualities.  Players have had mediocre first seasons and pushed on in the past.

I think there was some mention of “versatility” when he signed, fair to say he was not alone in that sense.  Wozza also suffered as a result of being fairly adaptable.  Generally players these days are expected to be far more adaptable than was the case in the past and it’s not necessarily always a good thing.

Not sure Worral suffered from his versatility as he played well in most positions.  Robbie Earle played right wing, was a good centreforward and then dropped into midfield.  One of Worral's best games was a night match vs FGR which was the only time I saw him play centre midfield.  He was outstanding and the best player on the pitch. He was just a very good footballer.

I’m starting to think your more obsessed with him than he is with Vale! You made your point now let it go, because one things for sure Gareth isn’t going anywhere 😂

Yes he gifted Denmark a goal… hence he can’t defend

Yes that 25 yard screamer off the post was a gift 🎁

Isn't there a General Election in the UK today?

That’s the one, Kane’s woeful pass out from left back gifted Denmark the goal.

Gone early there…Tomorrow😃

Have you listened to Matt Hancock’s interview?

That was interesting.

Essentially said C&K committed money to bring in players DM wanted before moving players out. Acknowledged they need to move players on to balance books and squad numbers but at present not under huge pressure to do so yet.

I reckon some fans, including myself, will be just as happy when some jelly bellies leave as signings.

Possibly, there will be players leaving who we would prefer to stay, but that is the way of football.

The difference is we know that we will pay fees to replace them now but as you say ideally we dont want the better players to leave

My guess with outgoings is things will probably move on that once the season is underway. If a few them get the hint they are way down the totem pole it may prompt them to get their agents to start asking around. No point us moving anyone out right now anyway, only takes an injury to one of our main players and suddenly things may be different.

MK apparently set to confirm the signing of Liam Kelly from Crawley. He was outstanding for them in the playoffs and ran the show against Crewe in the final. Hard for me to see past them as the favourite for the title.

That will mean Crawley have cashed in on all their better players now

I think the players he doesn't want will know by now, then it's down to their agents to get interest in them or the club to sort out
