Summer transfer rumours and speculation

Featured Replies

Lad at his gym talking a Crewe defender (stoke fan) he said to my lad that Rohan Curtis is a fantastic signing for Vale and they will go back up .

I think Sang will get at least 10 assists in league from the bench .

He now has someone to aim at

Stockley and  Tolaj plus Garrity

We have lacked the desire get on the end of balls in I have felt I'm hoping that having Stockley and Tolaj and Hall creates the space for Garrity to head at least 5 headed goals in .

We need to be able hit league 2 in all ways what I'm hearing about RC is fantastic Sang just has to come on and turn a 3-0 victory into a 4 .

He won't be in the starting xl that's for sure as long as all new lads are not injury prone .

Touch wood they ain't

Crewe have signed Max Sanders from Leyton Orient for an undisclosed fee.

Not a bad little signing for them

Well if we have a player on trial or training with us and another club comes in and offers him a deal because they know he's he's here - all because some obsessive nutcase camps out at the training ground I hope you'll direct your anger at him rather than the club.

Let's not dress this bloke up to be something he's not. If he was outside another club doing this we'd laugh at him and say he was weird, but because it's Vale and people who can't live a day without signing a player have something to gossip about it's OK.

I think it's irresponsible and downright weird for a bloke to be shoving a camera in their faces as they're going down to do their actual job.

So now Gareth is not an “obsessive nutcase” but a fifth columnist for other clubs?

Chill a bit, Granville.

We’ve made some fantastic signings this close season, without being gazumped by any other clubs.

And the players whom Gareth is snapping seem to be taking it in good spirits.

His deliveries are really going to stand out in L2. I suspect we will get the ball into the box much quicker under DM rather than overplaying, this will make it so much easier for the forwards and midfielders to make a well timed run to get on the end of things.

I've said it before, I'm convinced Sang is going to be a key player for us. I look forward to him proving a lot of doubters wrong.

High 6 figure fee? I really wish clubs couldn't do that and had to provide the value of the transaction.

I know the selling club doesn't want to be accused under valuing players or the buying club over paying but it would be good to know the market value.

What is his position? We signed him as a right winger/ RWB. If he can’t play in that position then he is no use to us.

We signed him as a cm.

To be fair we have been doing it recently with the undisclosed fees that we are paying

I know everyone does it. I’d like to see the rule changed so clubs can’t.

I agree. Would love to see how much we are paying clubs in transfer fees

Just like the good old days when every club said what they paid for a player

Crewe have signed Max Sanders from Leyton Orient for an undisclosed fee.

They need to do something after losing their 3 best players from last season.

Did we? I thought he was Worral’s replacement

I think there was some mention of “versatility” when he signed, fair to say he was not alone in that sense.  Wozza also suffered as a result of being fairly adaptable.  Generally players these days are expected to be far more adaptable than was the case in the past and it’s not necessarily always a good thing.

Has he got some nudies of you or summat?

You all love this complete weirdo who spends his entire day sticking his phone into people's faces, calling them "Chizzy" and "Gaz" like he's their best mate and tweets he thinks we're going to go on a 22 match unbeaten run at the start of the season?

That's OK.

Says more about some of you than it does him.
