Another Vale player being played out of position.  Surprise surprise!

The compilation of conceded goals he was involved in last season is a couple of minutes long.

He is not and will never be a defender, he's got to be in midfield or not in the side at all.

The problem is his other position is as a defensive midfield player and the clue really is in the name. The irony is his one good game was as a right side centrehalf.  His decision making defensively is poor and he lacks pace, particularly over short distances.

3 of those goals were from games he was playing in midfield.

He actually puts a fantastic ball in .

He mustnt be anywhere near the defence though as he cannot really tackle yet in a 3 at Wigan did very well .

I like him he will be good in league 2 especially if is just coming on extend leads in games .

Everyone needs some defensive ability, even harry kane at the euros was tracking back and defending (annoying as it was), this is terrible viewing, i wouldnt mind seeing him go, i remember some runs down the wing from him but not really coming to much.

We've always had club presidents for as long as I can remember (am now 64): its always a Vale supporter who has invested in the club at some time, and nearly always an ex-board member: so how is this different? The only thing that's different this time is that its a well known figure with a high profile, someone who knows how to generate publicity whether good or bad. All this guy has done is, tongue in cheek, called himself el Presidente for a laugh and some Vale fans have thrown their toys out of their pram ! Come On ???

Well said. I don't care for Robbie personally, but it's pretty obvious that having a popular celebrity fan closely associated with the club is mostly a good thing, isn't it? We don't have to moan about *everything* - especially when there's plenty of juicy stuff to moan about.

In fairness to Tom Sang you could do a video compilation of quite a few with there elementary mistakes so you cannot just single him out others made big errors also ,in fact most did

We can spend all our time and energy going on about how poor we were last season or we can wipe the slate clean and give ALL the players the confidence be better as we may have to use them all at some points of the season if cannot get anyone have them .

They all have to collectively go from say a last seasons mark out of 10 of 4 to this season a mark of 7 or 8 if they do Port Vale will benefit significantly.

You could do a compilation of every player that ever played from Pele to Ronaldo and show some howlers. Anyone that hasn't made a mistake in a game, never mind a season, hasn't played football or any other sport.
