Well yes, but the point I was making that if Reading get points reductions, which they very likely will the sanctions as I understand it would be 15 points this time, so they would be doomed. Although yes, absolutely we don’t want to be 4th bottom! 😀

Reading are sorted for this season so won't get any more deductions.

Just bought my ticket.

Could do with Barnsley beating Cambridge, us beating The Gas, Wigan stuffing Burton, Peterborough beating Carlisle and Cheltenham-Fleetwood drawing.

If we put in another good shift and work hard for each other, I dont care if Loft scores a hat trick where they all go in off his arse - and we get the results above it will start to make others very nervous.

Even if they ran on the pitch again?

I reckon it could hinge on the last game at home to Cambridge, still a few twists and turns to go yet

I think after the season we have had,we would all take that right now wouldn't we

How sure are we on this?  I seem to remember the last default the EFL didn't deduct any points, said it would be unfair??,  and fined the owner - who no doubt didn't pay

If they fail to pay wages at the end of this month then they will get a further 2 points deducted, apparently their HMRC bill has been cleared

You have seen our defending haven't you 😬 I say go all out attack, Go on Vale

Looking at Bristol Rover's form they haven't scored in the last 3 games and conceded 8. So we mustn't help them out with one of our free gifts. They drew 0-0 at Fleetwood but lost 5-0 at Lincoln. I will discount losing 3-0 at home to Derby because they are a much bigger club as we have found. But I feel Bristol have done what we should have been doing overall which is chug away winning and losing and reach safe mid table. They aren't going to get promoted or relegated and we should have more fire in our bellies. But we must respect they are capable of beating us if we do reckless stuff at both ends of the pitch, so I'm hoping Darren Moore can bring his experience to produce a telling balanced performance that sees us win by a couple of goals without conceding. I don't mind if the second comes in the 93rd minute from a breakaway after Bristol put all 11 men in our box trying to score from their 15th corner. Ryan Loft surely fancies a goal against his former club and should be steaming round the pitch etc.

There’s a lot of talk of Loft’s bottom in this thread. Not a complaint; just an observation.

Reading fretting about yet another points deduction on their forum at the end of this and next month, this being when all of the staff are due to get paid. I believe the FL have already made it clear to them that such deduction will be automatic with no appeals, if there's the requirement......

Whatever happens at Reading this is the Vale & I'll be amazed if the last game of the season v Cambridge isn't a winner takes ALL situation......

I'd certainly take this sinario this morning....

Should have done. Should have 6 points for getting a game abandoned. Weak EFL, and now set a precedent.
