I don't disagree. I want Loft to be a success for Vale just as I want every player who wears the shirt to do well.

However, until yesterday he looked a player lacking motivation, understandably low on confidence & simply going through the motions of being a professional footballer.

That said, the past is done & if he repeats yesterday's efforts for the rest of his Vale career he'll do for me.

You never know.. if he’s like all the rest (and who can blame him) he would have insisted in a release clause I m sure for instance if a premiership club or a bid of s certain amount was tabled he d be entitled to be released. 
so I don’t think there will be big money to be made there unfortunately.

You’re absolutely right. The behind the goal cam shows it well that defender would have blocked it if he went low so it was the one place he could hit it and the percentages were in his favour. Really well done.

Was a great save by Blackman too in fairness to him. He was copping it from the Vale fans all second half.

First game that I have not watched all season. I had something I could not get out of.

The 2 minutes highlight's that I have watched. it was like watching the Ryan Loft supershow.

The power, the aggression was brilliant!

Even the chance he missed in the first half was all created by himself through that power & aggression.

He played a massive part in the build up to the goal he scored in which it was a fook you finish, superb!

I actually thought he did everything right with that chance in the first half. Keeper got in a good position to narrow down the angle, just unfortunate that he couldn't squeeze it inside the post.

I couldn’t make the game yesterday but on the highlight s package he looked like  Haaland… I guess he also started with us when he wasn’t really fit which gives some people the illusion that he s not trying. He looks a little bit leaner I think now than when he first joined.

a win Friday and I would say we ve pulled this relegation malarkey to 50/50… still 60 /40 we ll go down to me.

Think it’s important to point out that 95%+ of Vale fans haven’t given Loft any public stick.

There’s a minority of idiots but fans were chanting his name before kick off yesterday.

Yesterday's Loft will tear Division 2 apart. As has been said the majority of Valiants want him to do well, for us. He most certainly hasn't had the season we all hoped for but do you know he really could be a success if we and the managers system can find a way to him playing like yesterday. I'll support him always if he puts in the effort.
