We've got players coming back into fitness at just the right time.
Thought plant was decent in this game despite being played out of position twice.
Uche not far away and will be helpful as a last 30mins chaos sub.
Clarke there or there abouts.
Be interesting to see how much of a high Dipepa is on after his U17 exploits. We might actually have a stronger first 11 and more threat on the bench

DM hinted that Clark is going to be out for the season, as is Dan Gore

Ah rubbish. We've had below average luck with injuries this season

Well in a lot of them he's appeared disinterested & happy for the game to take place around him - he might have been trying, but he gave a good impression of someone who wasn't.

Yesterday was different. Body language much better, looked up for the fight & worked his nuts off. That's all I ask of him - and the same goes for the other 10 on the pitch.

For the first time in weeks we looked together as a team. There's 5 teams in a scrap now & if we can continue to fight in this way we have a chance of survival.

Cambridge at home could be win to stay up.

Our worst performance of the season was away at Fleetwood. In my opinion Loft was the only one who was trying in the game.

Under the previous recruitment regime we seemed to gravitate towards players with long injury records. You reap what you sow.

Most players have some kind of injury record. Problem is that those players have been key to how we play and were usually straight back in when fit. Which says to me that recruitment wise we hadn’t quite got it right so that we had adequate strength and depth to be able to rotate players.

I understand that, I also get that the reason we go for them is they are cheap cause no one else will touch them with a barge pole. We need to change the recruitment model or were always gonna encounter these issues.

Hopefully a platform for Ryan Loft to build upon, hopefully a confidence boost for the team, hopefully the team will fight tooth and nail in the remaining games, hopefully 3 more points on Friday and whoever knows we might just stay up.....hopefully.

Hope so

Moore’s biggest strength, when you look at his other clubs, is building confidence and morale - an often overlooked part of football.

We’ve all seen the video from Sheff Weds where Bannan credits Moore with maintaining confidence after the 4-0 defeat which they overturned in the semis.

Yesterday the players looked right up for the fight and out-of-form players like Smith and Loft had their best games of the season. Massey came on and was straight into it. Yak was back to his usual aggressive self. There was a clear shift in morale.

The big caveat is that Burton are crap, but so were Shrewsbury and Fleetwood - Moore has got something into this group during the last week.

I’m not convinced it’ll be enough to win 4-5 more, but there were signs yesterday that he can turn this oil tanker around - even if that happens next season.

Tend to agree that’s the only performance where it looked like a few weren’t fully commited… maybe they knew Crosby was on his way?

we have lacked confidence and been guilty of muddled thinking due to changes in style of play bought about by changes to and then back from a possession based game which has lead to mistakes both individual and team wise along with a lack of athleticism and a fair dose of not being good enough but I don’t think they haven’t been trying. Why would a lower league pro not give it everything when his mortgage payments and kids schooling are directly linked to his on field performance?

yesterdays result was in part diwn  to not being a goal behind in the first 20 minutes for a change and we grew into the game especially 2nd half.

He’s wasting his breathe then. Whether this is true or not I don’t know, but I’ve heard both are very likely to be playing in red & white stripes next year.

Premier clubs already watching Dipepa and the plus point is we dont have to sell for 400k etc as he has got another 2yrs yet,so imo it will take a big money offer from one of them...... will he go? of course he will BUT under our terms

Just seen the goal, he nearly put it over the bar, but it doesn't matter

No he didn't,he had 2 players on the line so for me it was perfectly blasted into the roof of the net.... that should hopefully give him much needed confidence going into the last 8 games and also give him breathing space from the fans which will also help him imo

A MASSIVE well done Lofty lad
