Apathy.

Recommended Posts

The most disturbing thing about today for me was the apathy amongst the fans, it is obvious that the fans have packed up and can you really blame them ?

This team is not phenomenal Carol, it's just not very good at football and it's plain to see that next season with this set of players it's going to be another struggle and that's where the apathy sets in, once it gets a hold it's very hard to shake off, it can take years to gain support and just months to lose, the damage done with the recruitment policy since January 23 is going to take years to rectify and the paying public deserve an explanation

That's why hundreds were streaming off the ground before the final whistle just resigned to yet another home defeat.

The fights gone out of the supporters and it's certainly gone out of the team, like I said............. Apathy

I wonder if carol realises the only way she will ever achieve 10k plus home fans is providing a team that we are all proud of, a team that we are excited to come and watch on Saturday afternoons. Ive never seen such a pathetic excuse of a football team in my life. We let pett go and replaced him with jason lowe..... pett is no world beater but id take him every day of the week over lowe. Dan jones today you'd struggle to find a worse performance than that in any sunday league side across the country this weekend. Pathetic just pathetic. Our strikers have about 5 goals between them all season....... it is the most criminal neglect ive ever seen at vale in my whole life supporting the club. It simply is unacceptable. I could of recruited a better team than this lot. And they supposedly put this together through endless research and non stop hard work????

My journey to apathy from the start of the season to now:

1. Expecting to win each game

2. Expecting to win the odd game

3. Hopeful of a win

4. Expecting to lose but expecting to score

5. Expecting to lose but expecting to get some shots on target

6. Expecting to lose and expecting that we don't have a shot on target.

= not @rs£d

Honestly I just think people have had it beaten out of them. Seems most are at the acceptance stage now and I think even if a glance at the table still shows survival should be more than achievable the eye test just tells you this team don’t have it in them. The atmosphere was very eery though, nobody really got on the players backs it was almost a shrug of the shoulders at the latest embarrassment.

I just don’t know how many more times an opponent gets their first corner of the game  and then proceeds to score with ease while our gormless defenders look at each confused as to how it has happened for the umpteenth time this season.

9 points from our last 16 x home games. The worst home run in our 148 year history.

Worried about next season.

Moore first Vale manager in history to not win any of his first 8 games in charge.

Only Vale.

See you next week folks.

Can someone give me a good reason, why I should buy a Season ticket next year?

People may not like this, but her open letter made things 100x worse.

She carries on defending Flitcroft, she makes things another 100x worse.

She stays silent, she makes things another 100x worse.

She sacks Flitcroft, she gets her club and her fans back.

It really is that simple right now.

That depends if you enjoy freezing your nads off, watching us lose to Harrogate, in front of 2376.

Up to you.

As one who was sitting in the ls I totally agree. The group of us sitting together analysed the passages of play "wish we were attacking like that" etc. when your watching the apalhy on the pitch frankly what do you expect? We've done with shouting "get in them, go forwards" etc. it's the same football under Moore as Crosby and Clarke before but now with no fire, quality, accuracy or desire.
