Next 4 games...

The next 4 are huge. Think they dictate whether we stay up or not. Predictions & thoughts on how many points you think we need to give ourselves a chance of beating the drop. I'll start...

Lincoln (H) 1-1

Fleetwood (H) 2-0

Derby (A) 2-1

Shrewsbury (H) 0-0

I think DM will have us harder to beat but ultimately I just don't see us having enough to win enough of the next 4, despite 3 x home games. I'm predicting 5 points, although I think we'd need a minimum of 7 points to give us a chance at getting out of trouble.

Whilst there's hope...there's hope.

I actually thought we were much better last night. If we can put that game behind us quickly, we might just get a result on Saturday - heaven knows we're due a home win.

As bad as we've been and as bad as things look, we are still in control of our destiny.

If you're one of the people who've given up, fair enough. It's probably best for you, other fans and the club if you stay away on Saturday.

But if you're coming, bring a mate, bring your voice. Do our bit. Do it for us, even if you don't feel any warmth for the club or players.

We can do this.

Lincoln is massive, win that and we go into Fleetwood as favourites at home and things could look up a bit.

6 wins the maths is simple, Home games will be key.

Lincoln unbeaten in 7 but draw specialists (as they always are!)

Got a feeling we will win the next 2 but if thats just false hope time will tell.

Derby is a free hit really but the others need 7 points minimum.

Probably about right but that is not good enough to stay up !

We have to WIN the 3 home games !

Finances dictate I can't go to Derby but I'm at all those 3 home games.

I suppose I'm clinging to the hope that he can improve them more in coming games. There's no doubt about it that for an hour yesterday there was a vast improvement.

Once we had to reshuffle the pack, it became glaringly obvious we have zero in strength, depth or flexibility.

DF has to exploit the free agent market, he simply has to at least try

Christ. I bet you were listening to O Fortuna by Carl Orff while you were typing that out.

Well I've almost given up but if you want me to stay away....just give me £20 as that's what it'll cost me to stay in the bulls head for a couple of hrs having a few more Beers while the game is played 🍻😁🤣🤣

It won't cost you anything to attend if you know someone with a season ticket.

We look a lost cause on paper however I do firmly believe 1 positive result changes everything and that has to start Saturday. Even a draw but a positive performance sets us up with home games against Fleetwood and Shrewsbury which we simply have to win. 7 points from those 3 home games and things will look very different.

I thought we put a building block in last night with the formation but somehow  Moore has to find a way to get more quality in the final 3rd.

Mighten, Chislett playing more advanced and the returning Garrity give me reasons for hope.

To be fair Orient aside our home performances have been largely improved since the Stevenage cup game (ok and the first half v Barnsley) so that gives some hope, the fact we've had mostly top end sides at home until recently may give us hope.

We will know more about our hopes by this time next week put it that way.

There’s always a chance, and I’ll remain positive, but you’d have to say it would take an epic turnaround, akin to re-floating the Titanic.

No chance of that last bit as Titanic broke in two when it sank! There's always a chance with 14 matches still to play, but we need a big uplift in confidence over the next few games.  As they say, where there's life there's hope UTV!
