Damn, looked like a deflected shot but it was coming from the 1st second of the game.

Attack and defense like we used to play as kids, their attackers are very skillful, pacey and athletic. Vale did well doubling up on their wide players but one moment of lost concentration and it's wiped out all the hard work.

If we don't score keep it a 1-0 and certainly don't allow a big defeat.

Walters and Massey have to come off. Walters has just stood about watching. Nowhere near his man for the goal.

No idea where all the optimism comes from here. They'll end up winning this game comfortably 3-0 without getting out of third gear. They have players to bring off the bench that walk into our first 11.

A bit more aggressive up front and we can still cause problems for their defence.
The goal came from a very poor throw in from Plant who is struggling to cope at right back.
If we can keep it at 1-0 till 75 minutes then throw on the subs who knows, a point is still up for grabs here.

Having said all that, I’d take a 1-0 loss at this current moment so our goal difference doesn’t take a hit. The way it’s going that won’t happen though.

We've barely been in their half! They're miles better than anything we can offer.
