Leyton Orient (H) match thread 6th Feb

That performance was worst than Fleetwood.  There is a deep problem at our club. Is there no money left ?  Has the ambition gone ? Is the tail wagging the dog ?  There are a few uncontracted centre forwards out there with track records including Connor Wickham, and Gary Madine, maybe short term options because at the moment I dont see where a goal is coming from.  Either do something now or as much as I don't want to think about it we need to be league 2 ready.

We need to stay positive and find a way. I know it's hard. A shed load of people left the club on Monday. They weren't good enough in current role. Need to replace them and go from there.

We really could have done without playing Orient tonight. They genuinely were a good side.

We have been in worse situations than this. My main concern is February crammed with games. No time to think.

This is all feels too similar. I'm not even angry or sad about it anymore. For the first time in my 25 years of supporting vale , I feel so disinterested, deflated and detached from this club that I would once religiously watch home and away every season.

I have no idea where we go from here but I just pray we somehow make a decent appointment and survive the season and for me personally a well needed break from football.

It's starting to feel toxic again, and after the last few years, I don't think I have the energy to go through all that emotion again.

And before someone goes at me about how Carol saved the club. I'm fully aware and appreciate it and everything they have done but being a vale fan is so exhausting lately

I, like most posters on here feel that we have just about surrendered our L1 status, it’s really sad and frustrating.
I would like to see a game at Vale Park before the end of the season where I am entertained, where we can see some good wing play, some searching crosses and a goal or two.
Carol Shanahan has to realise that she is in the entertainment business and unfortunately we are not currently being entertained in fact whatever the opposite of entertained is, that’s what we are.
How can she have been so hoodwinked by a shyster like Flitcroft?

If I want to watch perfect clinical football I could go and watch Manchester, I certainly don’t want to watch our feeble attempts of 5 passes and then lose the ball.

WAKE UP CAROL.
