Give Samaritans a call like the rest of us. If he doesn't go then he must have something on the management team. There is no Darryl to rescue the situation this time. TIME TO GO

Carol and Flitcroft should have a replacement for AC tapped up by now. If they haven’t then it shows what a <ovf censored> show the management have been. Can’t just sack AC without a clue who they are going to put in to rescue our season.

I'm not happy clapper nor a doom slayer but is awful.

Get ainsworth in or some other bloke that plays turgid football. Need it to scrape some points together

No we are a community play toy for her now.  She needs to see the fans view and seek investment from RW or someone else and get a decent manager in to try and save this club from going down.  Going to cost you more if we go down.

I agree with this post until you start name calling - totally uncalled for - I know passions run high but she saved this club and deserves more respect.

She does need to sack the pair of them, and she should admit she got it wrong - publicly or privately it doesn't really matter.

I think we're deep into sunk-cost fallacy, here.

The idea that, once you've committed a lot to an idea, you can't abandon it - even if it's not working.

Flitcroft has committed a lot of 'capital' to Crosby. Appointed him with no interview. Changed the style of play. Spend 6 months extolling the virtues of a model, which idiots like me started to believe. If he sacks Crosby, he's accepting that he got it all wrong - and I'm not sure his position is tenable at that point.

Carol has made Flitcroft full-time and effectively handed him keys to football operations - where he's overseeing 11 wins in 50 games. By sacking Crosby, she'd be accepting that Flitcroft might not be the brilliant tactician she once thought he was. Questions would rightly be asked as to the wisdom of her decision-making.

We might go down because no one will front up that they've ballsed it. If Carol wants to salvage her legacy, she sacks both Crosby and Flitcroft, appoints a 'character' to steady the ship, and either sources external investment or sells to someone who can invest in the playing squad.

Crosby is the main problem. Not Flitcroft. Crosby could have worked out. It hasn't and now is the time to accept that and change. There is time to stay up and we do have good enough players.

Nobody with any dignity would take a job to follow the line of dim wit Flitcroft 

I cannot tell you how shockingly bad this has been. We are getting battered. We have created absolutely nothing. I thought it was bad ... its even worse i think. We are terrible
