Agree if true, although it’s a bit of a double edged sword this one.  Boost the attendance = more money in the coffers but also loads of day tripping Robbie fans with no affinity to the club would also potentially dilute the atmosphere.  Overall though I think any extra bodies through the turnstiles has to be good.  It’s up to the team to do the business on the park thereby lifting the atmosphere and hopefully gain a few new fans in the process.  Anyway it doesn’t look like the club are pushing this right now.

It is obviously not that much of a secret that Robbie has recently been to Vale Park since he is shown in the recent pictures on Twitter talking to Andy Crosby. 🙂

It would be nice to get him announced and on the pitch as long as he gets a good reception but you just know there will be fans there who will boo him

Well, he has a very loyal fan base.  If he becomes properly involved some of them could sign up to the club.  Also, maybe someone of Robbie's ilk, with lots of other stuff on his plate, might just be the sort of person Carol and Kevin might be prepared to share the reins with, rather like a sleeping partner.

Yet another Avanti West Coast saga for me to bore everyone with!

For the Charlton game my train was 90 mins late leaving Edinburgh, and I had to switch to the Hanley bus at Crewe but at least I got into the Railway just as the ref blew for kickoff.

Today (same train) it was 'on time' when I left home but 'cancelled' by the time I got to Waverley station. So it will be iFollow for me this afternoon, I'm afraid.
