Open and transparent community club?  Why would you expect to know why someone lost their job in any walk of life?  Not only that, you’re saying they should potentially breach confidentiality agreements and data protection laws.  We can only speculate on the reason for his departure, there may have been whispers.  If CG was sacked he won’t want the reasons known and if he was made redundant, which seems unlikely given that the role still exists, he would’ve had some financial package which would’ve almost certainly involved both parties agreeing to confidentiality.  If he’s simply retired the nature of the job, the information he was privy to, would mean that the club would insist on this type of agreement.  As I said, we can only speculate on the reason for his departure but the truth is you want to know rather than need to know..

It’s understood the chief executive’s exit, eight games from the end of the season, was not his decision.

tells me what I need to know.

Me too. Best try and get rid of those <ovf censored> icebergs then, hadn't we?

Agreed.  The immediate problem comes in that, no matter what Carol does - we can bring in Alex Ferguson as manager and recruit Messi, Mendy, van Dyke and de Bruyne and it would still not be good enough for most people on here.

Whatever she does, whatever money she spends, it will never ever be enough and I fear some sections of the crowd are already turning her into a figure of hate.

Unfortunately while the ship is sinking the band plays on. Jettison DF  and AC and we at least stand a chance of staying afloat.

Agreed.  We need to avoid dropping out of this leage at any cost.  Now is not the time for that to be disrupted.  It is however, entirely appropriate to loudly voice our concerns at the mismanagement of the club right now.

Just been on Facache and there's people on there calling for tennis balls to be thrown on the pitch.  Bloody stupid.

As if it isn't bad enough to be in the position that we're in, we don't need <ovf censored> throwing stuff on the pitch, causing the team even more embarrassment and picking up a fine from the FA, which will further reduce the money in the budget.

Some people haven't got the brains they were born with.

Particularly as we’ve already got one pending FA charge looming for the idiot who came onto the pitch at the Pompey game. Further offences this season would run a very real risk of point deductions.

Just seen Benning is Shrews’ player of the month. He was slated last year but I’d snap your hand off for him now over grant.

Benning was <ovf censored>, and so is Grant. Wouldn't have either of them anywhere near the first 11. But we are where we are!

He was, Grant is far worse imo. At least benning can run.

When did he learn that trait?

Can he play wingback though ? 🤔

He played wingback at Sheffield Wednesday. He's played as a 10, striker and both wings for Forest.

We are hamstrung by this 3 at the back nonsense. Play Benning as a left back and he’s a steady player, as seems to be the case at Shrewsbury for him now. Tonight highlighted how poor our options are if we need to go 4 at the back in a game as we have no fullbacks. Should have gone out in jan and got a right and left back.
