Kinda figured that if Clarke Harris is £800k and he was last season's golden boot, that garritty wouldn't be worth more than that.

I agree with you though in that it'd be really hard to replace garritty. You don't get many midfielders that score as much and are as good as ratting. It's normally the tricky winger or attacking flair centre mids that get the most goals. Garritty kind of has a lampard ability to arrive in the box, but with cult hero levels of work ethic.

Or a better way of phrasing it, what fee would we have to achieve to not be disappointed? For me I think that's £500k + add ons.

I wouldn't let him go for less 1.5mil.

Heartbeat of this team, anticipation to win balls is 2nd to none, workrate is incredible and for any player to score 10 goals at this stage of the season is a fantastic return. To have a midfield player to be able to do it..well they are like a unicorn.

Nippy, whilst I agree with what you say, we’ll be signing our own death warrant. Having said that we sell everyone else so I wouldn't be surprised. How do you think the fans would react if it happened

Don't get me wrong I think he should go as he is not making the best use of the players available to him but the main problem though for anyone coming in is having the finances to build a squad capable of competing in League 1

Gags, I think if we could get Lift and Uche out it would improve our finances no end. I know it’s only teracgossip but I heard some one say Loft is on 4K a week and Uche on over 3k this is killing our club for what we get in return. I accept it could be a load of rubbish but we cannot afford to carry anyone

I think this window will now show the ambition of the club by seeing what calibre of player we are after or bring in

I think we all now fully expect Conlon and Cass to leave,then maybe Balmer and Thomas to go back,also whats happening with Jones,Walters could leave if rumours are true and there could then be a couple of shock ones i guess,so if several leave then it could be a busy window for us again
