I can see the logic in this team selection. Opportunity to give senior and junior players a game where needed but looks strong enough as well. 

We know we have good young players and Newcastle U21 players should not be better and may not actually be as experienced. 

This is an important competition. One we can go deep in or even on a good day win. Go for it lads.

Digressing a bit. I always like a little dabble on the coupon .

Tonight Liverpool are 10/1  Villa 13/2 and Newcastle 8/1 .

Higher odds than if we played Solihull or Kidderminster in the Fa cup I'd hazard a guess. 

Those odds tonight speak volumes for the competitiveness.
