All players have a mistake in them.  The higher you go, the less mistakes they make, Harry McGuire excluded, but the McGuire example shows that some players make more mistakes than others, or rather they’re more noticeable.  Forrester made enough errors that it became a talking point.  He’s still a raw young pro so will only improve.  What I will say is that he chipped in with a couple of goals for us so also has that side of the game in his locker. I wish him all the best and my celebration would be short if he smashed one in the back of your net on Saturday……

Yes Ray, WF does have a goal in him, he scored a really good one in pre season against West Brom. As you say he’s still raw and I’m sure he will make mistakes as he learns but so far he’s been very steady, although it’s very early days yet. We’ll get a better idea after the next 3 games where he’s likely to feature with Jones out so it’s a good chance for him to prove himself. As for tomorrow I was rather hoping he’d smash one in the back of your net along with Dion and others!! 😉

Great lad is Will... I know how hurt he was when his boyhood club let him go after years of captaining their academy sides.

He s a good footballer but can be caught out defensively be interesting to see how he goes tomorrow. ... Still not sure he makes our team though even when we play 3 centre halves.

Really looking forward to the game if Bolton want to beat us they will have to play well.

Yeah think Lorne St will Railway Std will, Hamil needs too, then say Bolton sell 3000 which I believe they will looking at 10000 to 10500 which is acceptable to all things considered

Nealy 8000 home fans the week after we lose 7 nil to Barnsley when we play Reading, why are we down on supporters from the opening game of the season when we are 4th, playing well and in the 4th round of the cup.  There will be a number who can't afford I understand that but still struggling to understand why some people will sooner go on an away trip than support the boys at home in what should be a great atmosphere.

There is a train strike tomorrow. This makes it harder to get to the game by way of public transport, but not impossible. Thank God for the Welsh in my case.

And if we'd pulled Man United away we'd have been struggling to meet demand. Bizarre.

There were a lot of free tickets included with the 1876+ membership for the first home game

Nail on the head. 1500 is the season ticket holders. Problem is yet again the toilets.

How long does it take to put a new roof on the toilets for God’s sake, must be costing the club money.

Forrester is an odd one. He arrived with a bit of fanfare from our lardie neighbours but to me he never really looked all that good.

He had the odd half decent game here and there but he made some very basic mistakes and didn't appear to have any redeeming features to suggest he could play higher. Was it Charlton away where he made a really basic error?

I imagine we must have snapped Bolton's hand off to pay money for him. I was surprised that a team that one would assume would be targeting automatic promotion would have gone in for him. Maybe he'll get better with age but I think he's well into his early twenties now?

He'll probably have a blinder now, but I hope we press him as he always looked liable to a mistake for me.

He’s a good player mate… he ll settle down with a good club in league 1 or championship over the next couple of years….. he was at Stoke from the age of 8, getting let go by them must have hit hard… hope he does well… apart from tomorrow of course.

Lorne street sold out and looks like the Hamil only has about 500 or so seats left, shame about the paddock… any news from the club when it’ll be back in action?

We need to defend well today. I know we are at home. But if they score nil possibilities to win the game stem from that foundation.

Yes ticket office opens at 9am and limited tickets left for the Stand so we may get the overspill section in the Hamil opened.

I’m sick to death of going to this stadium. If ever the lads need an example as to why we need to get out of this league, take a look at your surroundings today. #BWFC #PVFC
