Would consider buying a small version of this.  Could be another way of raising money.  Looks great.

It has to go somewhere it can be seen but not vandalised. That statue looks more vulnerable to vandalism than the Sproson Statue. If people will vandalise Eric Morecambe then they will vandalise John Rudge.

At least half of PV fans will never see it there. Or there will be fans congregating who don't intend going in the stand. It should go near the Sproson statue. I accept many will see this area as having the same issue! But that location is a central corporate place in a car park with entrance to the Lorne Street Stand, hospitality facilities and offices. It is also a thoroughfare.

its good but i d rather the finger was pointing straight outwards  than raised as per previous poster it looks like he s just sent another unfortunate Sandyford opening batsman back to the pavilion.

This is a good point. It's art v realism. As an older person I can't raise my finger by that much. I'm about 20% less. So the challenge is that it's unrealistic. But this art, honour and historical record.
