Women`s Football

It's a treat to watch football with far less diving and cheating than in the man's game! Women's football once attracted gates of 50k+, and had to be banned so that the men could get back to playing League football. Also - women's rugby and cricket are hugely enjoyable! As for women's hockey...and as a teenager who played for lads vs girls...absolutely brutal...and brilliant! Get your head out of your arse and support another Vale team!

If you are going to go to their matches, well done.

Sorry in advance.

But can you spot the blatant sexism on the Port Vale home page right now? This can change with a new signing, but it's a state that has persisted for a few days. If the perspective is the men's and women's teams are fully equal.

My proposal to overcome the issue I've identified is to split the home page vertically down the middle with the men on the left and the women on the right.

Another alternative is three panels - men, women, junior panels.

This is my Vale home page Warren. I have zero interest in Port Vale women's team myself.

But according to my official home page this is what's showing. 🤔.

Yes, but the recent female players who signed are belittled in panels at the bottom. In fact they are more recent news than Lowe and Chislett. So taking equality that should not happen and is sexist.

I don't think there will ever be enough interest to compete with mens game. The Women's World Cup starts next week, lets face it, Kidsgrove Athletic would win it, and therefore the issue is and always will be the quality on show.

Still, if it gives hope to 100's of millions of females that they can carve out a career in football then that is great.
