Just can't understand the thinking of a lot of football club owners.

Rooney has been a disaster anywhere he's been.  His biggest achievement in management has been taking Derby on a decent run.  They still went down.

For a club like them, who only just stayed up this season, it seems complete and utter madness to appoint anyone with his record.

There are about 1000 comments on the bbc sport story on this.  I didn't read a single one (obviously didn't read them all) in support of the appointment.

I have a good friend who is from Plymouth and obviously is a big Plymouth fan and he is fuming at the prospect,he even said next season might be when he becomes a Vale fan 🙂

Its crazy - same with Steve Bruce - job after job after job - fail after fail after fail

Re football owners - me ole pappy used to say - "a fool and his money are easily parted"

The managerial 'merry go round' seems to be jobs for the boys. 

Please don't think I'm having a go over Moore but I feel fans should have a say (like a referendum) when it comes to appointing a manager.
