I think £18 is a fair price for adults.

For L2 in general its my belief prices should be around £ 15, however the cost models for L2 clubs will not allow, so around £ 18

I would hope he will look at perhaps some kind of part season ticket or a scheme like the card at bradford which allows entrance at a reduced cost, there are many like myself who work shifts and are likely to miss a good chunk of home games making the purchase of a season ticket not worth doing

I was also thinking around £18 myself for an adult ticket.

 

Not sure about any part season ticket schemes as it could affect st sales in general, for me it's either a st or pay on the day.

Sensible approach from Mr Ryder.

 

Match-day tickets at £20, with two or three £10 games, to reward fans and attract new fans, would be a sensible approach in my opinion.

Price is important but I firmly believe if the product is right the cost becomes much less of an issue. I would have felt robbed had I paid 50p for some of the games I've endured in recent years but if we are playing good entertaining football and topping the league then fans will pay up.

would'nt give an interview ahead of weds meeting only to say he's in his forties, married with three children

 

He has spoke to Micky but nothing he says can be finalised until the creditors meeting and he's passed the league 'fit and proper' test

 

So until the deal is finalised there wont be a great deal he can say at the meeting on Wednesday only maybe what he would like to see happen.

I agree that the £20 mark is a psychological barrier, especially for League Two football.

 

The massive gap between the cost per game for a season ticket holder and a non-season ticket holder is way too big and has been actively discouraging walk-ups.

i notice in his statement that he his looking at initiatives to fill the ground on match days without devaluing the season tickets, that does fill me with some hope

£18 with £19 in Lorne Street would be about right at this moment in time.

 

It won't make a jot of difference to the attendance though. Ryder is going to have a rude awakening when trying to entice Vale fans.....unless we win the league of course :rolleyes:
