He said that we were already knackered as we needed 3/4 million to last the season. How many season tickets did we sell, 2000 at £250 is half a million, plus the commercial revenue up 80% on last year, sponsorship deals, shirt sales, not paying for anything must surely equate to the figure 1st thought of.

Well thats 2 directors who have made complete idiots of themselves in the past 24 hours.They both looked as though they are hiding something and I only hope that if anything illegal has gone on they all get punished through the courts.Well done Laura for stitching Deakin up tonight:yes:

The Chief Executive is the top management position and the person with primary responsibility for all management advice provided to the board and recommendations about what action should be taken (e.g. the budget and its assumptions). As the Chief Executive in this case also joined the board he shares joint responsbility for the decisions it made. I might accept he is less culpible if he made sensible recommendations and they were ignored and / or he was outvoted by the other directors who were reckless. But it seems he was at the heart of things, whether playing along or sometimes leading.

I believe the article for tonight's programme is being finished off day.

 

The total interview was around 23 minutes and will be online at some point after the show.

 

I have just witnessed a clip on the regional news this morning of PD and am preparing myself for another 'it's not my fault...it's the fans fault' spineless account of our predicament.

 

(Must remember to put away all small objects that might damage the TV if thrown in it's direction :ohmy:)

 

I was so angry during all of that. Why the hell did they not ask him about his unpaid shares and the lies about them? Only consolation is that Deakin looked like he was shatting himself. A shadow of the smug ******* that arrived last season!

Lets see what tomorrows Sentinel brings and the on line version of LKO.I expect he will dig a bigger hole.

 

 

He was as successful in spilling the beans in that interview as he has been as a CEO at Vale.
