Robinson really does offer nothing up top. He just ambles around the same spot. I'd like to see Cullen given a run out.

Agreed. He’s useless sadly.

Lets hope and pray we don't run out of steam 2nd half big 45mins coming up, going back behind the settee.......

Vale moving the ball faster and playing with more urgency, also seem to be playing closer together and more as a unit. We'll be OK if we can continue to play like that for the rest of the season.

Come on for a good second half as well Vale

Nice game for Amoo / Hurst as its quite open. Maybe later on. If Hurst’s on the bench

Win this and we're 8pts clear, 9pts with the goal difference... a long way to go mind. Keep it up Vale.

Ironic that synthetics guards against fraud and financial crime, then gives Robinson a 2 year contract

Good first half that. Manny made all the difference for me. Always looks forward and rarely misses a pass.

Comedy gold towards the end of the half. Lovely close control and skill on the touchline by manny to keep the ball and find a player despite being surrounded by 3. The recipient of the pass, Mills, tries to copy manny, loses the ball and ends up on his backside [emoji23]

Here's a big shout - would you sub Robinson for Cullen at HT?

Good performance so far. Who would have thought a 4 4 3 might work? Having Monty back is huge.

I hope we can continue to push on in the 2nd half. I really hope it doesn't end up like one of those confidence zapping performances of Nov and Dec where we conceded late goals to lose.

Hold out or add to our goal tally and this could be the confidence boost we have needed all season. What I would give for a late goal that turns a game our way.

Thought the ref has been very favourable to us. Other than the Joyce booking which, without seeing, I think he gave for the bloke who went down holding his face a few minutes before. Every decision that could go either way has gone to us.

Come on Vale get a couple of goals and make this comfortable.

Yes

Something else I noticed is that Conlon seems to be back in his normal role, much further up the pitch and not being wasted sitting in front of the defence
