If this is true, then these two people need to understand that their shares are in serious risk due to the almost certain disastrous sales of season tickets if the board survive the EGM.

1) Gibraltan loan company have no business acumen to have got involved

2) We have no chance of winning the EGM before it's even started

This sounds dodgy to the extreme and they still have to be voted onto the board by the shareholders.....which wont happen!!! and if was ever to succeed the public outcry would be massive!!

And now the EGM/AGM has been called no shares can be issued.

Not fair on Rob calling him Judas. If you had somthing to sell and someone offered you 50k and someone offered you 40k for the same thing what would you do?

 

Plus it was Mo who said he would buy all shares at cost price and the first chance he got he offered 20% less.........

 

So why Rob gets the grief and Mo get's none is beyond me, especially after everything Rob had done for the club previously.

How I understood it, the board aren't using the loan to pay for shares they are using club shares to repay the loan. Hope that makes sense?

This means that the Gibraltar loan company will be new board members, whoever they are, possibly as replacements for Deakin and Oliver.

In my view, and assuming the rumour is true, this is clear prejudice against the existing shareholders.

 

Would this have happened if there was no EGM?

 

This again makes me suspicious that a secret is being protected. And why Is Bratt involved again?

I believe the board already know the 'rough' figures and have enough votes already to push through (or block) any votes they need.

They have been working day and night behind the scenes to maintain their position, they have all the cards and will have provided shares wherever and to whoever they need to to win all and every vote if needs be.

 

I think it is going to get very very nasty (not that I am advocating violence) but I really do believe the ONLY WAY these parasites will leave is if they genuinely fear for their safety.

Remember last egm, we had the rumours if Harlequin converting their loan to shares but this never happened? Ask yourself, if you had made a secured loan paying 25% interest per annum to a potless company, would you convert this to a nil interest paying unsecured share portfolio in a business that could go bump any minute? Makes no sense at all. If they have been daft enough to do that we will go bump soon enough anyway.

Apologies if this has already been posted, but there is a nasty rumour doing the rounds claiming that the board have managed to persuade the infamous Gibraltar loan company to convert all or part of the £277,000 loan debt into issued club shares. I don't know if this is true or if this could work but it would put them in an unbeatable position for the AGM/EGM, and these new persons will be proposed as new board members at the AGM. :(

 

Hopefully the SC will have such a scenario on their radar.

I would go back to the person who offered the original £40K, tell him he had been outbid & ask him if he was prepared to increase his offer.
