Remember last egm, we had the rumours if Harlequin converting their loan to shares but this never happened? Ask yourself, if you had made a secured loan paying 25% interest per annum to a potless company, would you convert this to a nil interest paying unsecured share portfolio in a business that could go bump any minute? Makes no sense at all. If they have been daft enough to do that we will go bump soon enough anyway.

If this is true, then these two people need to understand that their shares are in serious risk due to the almost certain disastrous sales of season tickets if the board survive the EGM.

are you able to look at a list of shares purchased in say the last 10 weeks?

 

Surely any large transactions by an party could be viewed as trying to influence the outcome of the EGM?

If this story in the OP is true, surely it makes no difference? Surely the shares which the Gibraltar loan company are taking on will be the nil paid shares of Miller and Deakin, in which case, as Lloyd has pointed out there were already eligible to be voted at the EGM, then it simply changes their status from nil paid to paid. It doesn't change the numbers.

Not fair on Rob calling him Judas. If you had somthing to sell and someone offered you 50k and someone offered you 40k for the same thing what would you do?

 

Plus it was Mo who said he would buy all shares at cost price and the first chance he got he offered 20% less.........

 

So why Rob gets the grief and Mo get's none is beyond me, especially after everything Rob had done for the club previously.

 

i would tell the person who offered 40k that i'd been offered 50k and sit back whilst the price went up :rolleyes: unless i had another agenda ofcourse as did rob lee but thats old news now.

Does it jean? Or will they be new paid shares and the nil paid are still used as nil paid, I.e 527k worth of shares for the board. I Snyder understand why the Sc doesn't just sue the board for diluting the share values by issuing nil paid shares yet not offering them to the other shareholders .

If this was the case Miller would not own any shares (paid or nil-paid) and couldn't be a director. That would leave the board looking for 3.
