Blimey. I wish I was twenty again and had a decent memory. 🤔

With forty years of teaching in front of you, Sage?  No thanks!!

Tough game. These are a good side that I think would have gone up automatically if not for the season ending early, I’d take a point from this one.

Either same 11 or Cullen In for Robinson as he has a very good record at vale park.

Pope has an excellent record against Cheltenham as well!

I really fancy our chances tonight and it’s about time we dished out a performance similar to that against Luton Town a couple of seasons ago. COYW

These like to press and play three at the back. Could be another big game for Worrall and Amoo. They also don't concede very many chances at all, so Robinson is going to have to be more clinical with what comes his way.

I know its still really early in the season but I think tonights game is massive for us. Its one of those games that could define our season. If we can win the momentum and confidence starts to build in the squad.

Looking forward to it, I think it will be probably our hardest game of the season so far. Just wish I could be there to support and encourage the players.

Same team again for me pending Monty's fitness.

Draw will do.

We have a favourable run of fixtures (or did, till Scunthorpe was announced): Southend (bottom), Scunthorpe (2nd bottom), Kings Lynn, Liverpool U21s, Tranmere (16th).

Early kick off again.

Expected team news, I agree.

The issue with injured players is the simple fact that once they miss chunks of pre-season and get injured again it is very very hard to get your match fitness. The reserves play so few games that it's a long, hard struggle. It's a shame as they are two lads who can potentially give us something a bit different. But the subs bench is stronger now.

Fingers crossed. A miserable, damp evening and a fair bit of rain in Burslem today.

Same team is a no brainer. Be a good test against these and I think they still play a wing back system too. If I remember correctly their one tactic down at their place was to launch it over over left backs head and work down there for balls into the box, be interesting to see if they come at us.

I’d imagine they will try something similar with us having an attacking full back. Could be an interesting game this

Anyone having trouble getting iFollow on?  I'm just getting the play button and a whizzy circle going round it?

Must have heard me - it's on now!
