Madjo wasn't great by any means, but its the principal that aldershot are paying for players that we couldn't keep on loan it really is embarrassing.

Agreed, they forced Micky to shop at 'Tunstall Market' rather than a supermarket to get Madjo and then didn't even give him enough to let him go through the bins for scraps!

 

For me though Madjo is no loss ultimately as I think Micky was beginning to realise having dropped him to the bench.

Doesnt make them a bigger club because they have more money.

 

What's bigger than Vale? Their ground? (No) Their fan base (No)

 

If you compare Vale to a club like Leeds, Sunderland, possibly even Stoke, then yes, they are bigger clubs.

Of course they are bigger, population 250k, 3 Cup Finals, spells in the top tier, poor ground, 2 terrible decades. Just surprised they can afford to spend the money.

Well, Madjo didn't exactly make a great start. From the ESPN Soccernet report:

They are bigger for me sadly. Their home gates have been consistently higher than ours despite the fact they have been in a lower league for a few years. They've also spent a number of seasons in the top tier and have won major trophies.
