What do you think about the unprecedented rise in homelessness and people using foodbanks, guys?

Do you think it would be a good idea for the government to manufacture medication so that the NHS can afford to prescribe it to seriously ill people?

What is the rise in homelessness and what has caused the rise?

I think it's a good idea for the Government to obtain medication as cheaply as possible. If that means manufacturing it, great, if that means buying it, great.

No one should be a billionaire. You can be rich and have people working for you without being a billionaire.

To put things into perspective.

1 million seconds is 11.5 days.

1 billion seconds is nearly 32 years.

it takes the likes of bill gates 30 seconds to earn the same as the uk median yearly salary. bUt tHeY wOrKeD fOr tHeIr mOnEY. When people can’t afford to feed themselves and use food banks, we have people defending being a billionaire because ‘they worked for their money’.

Meanwhile,in the US of A,the 14th richest person in the world Mike Bloomberg decides to give the Trump a run for his money in next years election.

They seem to brag about their wealth over there?

So what is your suggestion exactly? I'd love to know what you plan to do about the heinous people who dare to earn more money than you think is acceptable, without costing millions of jobs.

Also, what is the wealth limit for you? What is an acceptable amount of money before the state should knock on your door and take your earnings forcibly?

Is it £1m? £10m? £100m? £50k a year is a hell of a lot of money when you compare it to someone forced to use a food bank.

Where is the line.

Paying proper taxes first and foremost. And not crying a river for billionaires if they have to pay a bit more income tax. Pretty simple. Or do you count paying taxes as ‘knocking in your door and taking your earnings forcibly’?

So you've got no figures? No specific ideas just "proper" taxes.

I count increasing taxes dramatically as that yes.

Perhaps the Conservative Party should also consider why they have failed to get a majority in two the last three elections despite being the answer to all our prayers and having the bulk of the print media on their side??

If Labour can't beat this latest Tory goverment I fear for their future. They don't seem to learn from their mistakes and keep trotting out their usual victim politics. It doesn't work and it's no good blaming the media for their demise, the electorate can see through it.

Despite facing the poorest Tory goverment I can remember and after three losses, can Labour come up with a solution this time.Four defeats on the trot and Jezza will be a gonner.

I think that they've finally realised that they need a different approach and I can see why they are trying to gain the support of the younger generation and not the wiser elderly ones, who know what they are all about.

If Corbyn wasn't the leader they would have a far better chance.  Rightly or wrongly he is a toxic brand.

What a bar steward.

How dare he pledge €1 billion to fund research and development efforts to end malaria?

This talk of homelessness will really bite hard if inflation goes up 1 or 2% at the moment levels of employment are low and interest rates have enabled people to get mortgages,if the rates go up then it will be work houses not food banks that will be needed.

Worrying about aspirational self made billionaires will be the last of our problems, once inflation starts running it's very very hard to stop,no amount of taxing billionaires will help, I'm struggling to find a really successful socialist government that doesn't bankrupt the country they run.

I also find it frustrating that Corbyn is promising the absolute world to buy votes,Jess Phillips has said you can't trust manifestos,if Corbyn had picked say half of his "Promises" it would be credible, we already owe a fortune to start with, once he's  finished I can see the pound being devalued, now which party did that the last time ?

Proper as in not avoiding tax. I’m not a tax expert so no I don’t have figures. Does that mean I shouldn’t believe that a corporation earning hundreds of millions shouldnt be paying a fraction of the tax percentage that someone earning an average wage pays.
