There’s a lot of second chances for some players now with a new manager coming in. It’s all to play for with everyone back in the melting pot.

 

If the new bloke isn’t in by Saturday, and the games on, do we stick with wingbacks? If it’s Pugh in charge for Saturday I can’t see too much changing for his game. Even if a new bloke comes in tomorrow he hasn’t got the time to implement any ideas.

 

Hopefully Gibbos red card is rescinded to allow him to play as well, but if not maybe put Clark on the right and Monty on the left?

He was linked but nothing concrete as the player in question turned out to be a player Aspin has managed before.

 

On a side note we have put in 2 loan offers for League One strikers.

There’s no guarantee that whoever comes in as manager wants these supposed targets anyway, so why come to a club where potentially the new gaffer might not want you. What a disaster of a window.

Port Vale are delighted to announce the signing of Kyle Howkins from West Bromwich Albion on loan until the end of the season.

 

Identical to last season, Kyle arrives at the club on transfer deadline day and is available for selection for tomorrow’s home fixture against Tranmere Rovers weather permitting.

 

 

Even the official welcome for Howkins is wrong , unless the game been brought forward to Friday ?

It was succesful, always feel the ref ought to be accountable by banning for 3 games not the player.

 

I might be wrong but i'm sure Tomlinson had one rescinded when he was sent off at 2-0 at Rotherham, think we lost 5-0.

Now we'd probably already lost but the sending off made doubly sure.

 

Poor refs get off scot free week in week out.
